Huh. I didn’t know Red Wolves were rare in captivity. They have them at the Roger Williams Park Zoo, which is near me. I have also seen the Kiwi at Franklin Park Zoo.Hi everyone!

In this thread, I explained why it would be important for Frontier to sometimes include animals in the game that are very rare or not in captivity:

Hello everyone! :) I know, that the Frontier and many of their fans adhere to realism, that only these animals need to game, which are well-present in zoos. I don't agree with this completely! It is true, that basically, we need such animals in the universe of Planet Zoo, which can be found...forums.frontier.co.uk
RULES:
- All users may submit maximum 12 species, but could be less, if you want.
- Mammals, birds, reptiles, amphibians, fishes and invertebrates are allowed.
- The species could be habitat or exhibit/WE animals.
- Only wild animals, domesticated ones are not allowed!

So far just Saiga and Kiwi i believe.

At least 34 facilities hold Golden Snub-nosed Monkeys but all of them are in East Asia (mostly in China, 1 in Japan and 1 in South Korea), whether that can be considered "rare" in captivity?

I was lucky enough to see and get pictures of the shoebill pair at Zoo Tampa almost two years ago. Zoo Tampa has successfully hatched and reared them, and one of their daughters is in another exhibit in the zoo.
A dream species that is only kept off exhibit at Dallas World Aquarium (also the only other American zoo that keeps a shoebill) and that ZooMAT in Mexico both keeps and has successfully raised is the resplendent quetzal. Out of my dream bird species pack, this species is easily number one.
I know the lilac-breasted roller is the most common roller species in the EU and the UK; I've talked to zookeepers here in the US and they stated that they're too aggressive for walkthrough aviaries.
I would personally like to see more Central American representation in the game. The bird life is especially rich and iconic, hence why I added the Agami heron, Montezuma oropendola, and three-wattled bellbird.
When I read that the Houston Zoo created a Galápagos exhibit but used Humboldt penguins and California sea lions as stand ins, I had to include them both the Galápagos penguin and the Galápagos sea lion.
Because of the list restriction, I would've also added the lace monitor and the Galápagos marine iguana.
