Sorry guys but I can’t imagine SA pack without any wild camelid. Neither alpaca nor llama is a good substitute.
It’s like having a goat but no ibex.
So I hope that addition of alpaca doesn’t cross out guanaco or vicuña.
Plus there are still a huge group of game players who want more ungulates whether you like it or not.
I like all groups of animals but we also need to be aware that ungulates are the most common animals in all zoos and are clearly easier to make for Frontier. So we can expect more of them.
People shocked that barnyard pack contains mostly ungulates can’t be serious. Coz it sounds more like mocking joke to me.
I actually agree on a wild camelid for an animal pack.
Lets face it, 2 is the minimum number of ungulates to expect and if those 2 go to the southern pudu and a wild camelid id be honestly rather glad.
Frontiers SA animal pack will be vastly different from what the community actually wants, but atleast to me a roster of Pudu, Camelid, Rhea, Mara, Coati, Monkey and best case a second bird like southern screamer, red legged serima, scarlet ibis or roseate spoonbill or in the more realistic case spec bear or ocelot would be a perfectly fine and Serviceable pack that feels quite realistic.
Is it a bit boring? Yes but that doesnt have to be a bad thing
Sure id also love a vast array of monkeys and birds to really play into SAs strong suits, but when looking at SA rep in game the thing that lacks just as much is basic spacefiller and rhea, mara, camelids and coatis are great to provide that and just fluff every SA area up in size, while pudu, monkey and potentially a second bird would give a little bit more special animals to play with, and if we should get the spectacle bear or ocelot wed have either a center piece for both SA but especally anden areas or a good allrounder filler animal.
Not the most exciting pack but defenetly a good basis for the long run
