Which in-game species have you seen IRL?

Greater rhea and white-faced saki are seen in zoos. Flamingo probably is unless they're going with an absurd species choice. Coyote seen in zoos and the wild. Bighorn sheep is a "hopefully in 2026".
Can now confirm that every species besides the sheep has been seen in zoos, with the coyote in the wild as well.

Of the five presumed animals of the current pack, I've seen American flamingos in Philadelphia and greater rheas + white-faced sakis in multiple institutions (the latter in three different zoos in the past year!). Shockingly I've never seen a coyote either in the wild or in captivity--they're not as common on the Eastern Seaboard as they are in the West, but they are very much present. I have also never seen bighorn sheep which isn't as much of a shocker.
4/7. I've seen ocelots at three different zoos (Bergen County, ZooAmerica, Elmwood Park) in addition to the aforementioned rhea, saki, and flamingo.

Parco Natura Viva carries hard here, since I seen Ocelot, Saki and A. Flamingo there.

Other than that Rheas are everywhere.

Coyote, Bighorn and Bush Dog remain unseen

I saw ocelot, bighorn sheep, rhea and i think the saki? Im not sure for the saki though. Defenely didnt see coyote or bush dog and i cant tell u for the live of me if among the flamingos i saw there was an american one but they are in zoo duisburg acording to zoo tierlist so i guess i did

Along with Arid and NA (and maybe Zookeeper's?), this might mark three (four?) animal packs where I've seen every species, but I'm not entirely sure. I've seen rhea in Houston and maybe some other places, American flamingo in way too many US zoos to count, coyotes in Jacksonville and Minnesota, plus in the wild in Illinois, a whole lotta saki at Brevard, Miami, Brandywine, Bronx, Central Park, Dallas, Lincoln Park and maybe some other places, bush dogs in San Antonio, and ocelots at ZooAmerica and Elmwood Park (I've also seen quite a few exhibits for them at other places but they've been no shows a lot of the time)

Depending on how long Denver Zoo has had them, I may have seen bighorns when I was little, but I don't recall them at all. Ironically I'm unsure about the markhor in Zookeeper's which is my last for that pack too - I remember an exhibit for them at Columbus but I think they were no-shows. I guess I just have terrible luck with caprines lol.

Just edited since Americas Animal Pack.

  • American Flamingo @ SeaWorld (yes, I know its controversial and I feel bad for the killer whales but it was years ago, maybe even before all that stuff came out, and I really enjoyed my visit!) as well as @Las Vegas Resort
  • Ocelot @ Zoo Boise (I enjoyed watching them they are pretty cats)
  • Greater Rhea @ Zoo Boise (they share(d) an enclosure with Maras so I'm hoping to see Maras to recreate it!)

Of these new species, I've only seen the coyote and the ocelot and possibly the flamingo.
Coyotes in the wild
Ocelot at the Houston Zoo

Flamingo, not sure, maybe at a zoo in Cozumel or Yucatan or something. I know I've seen crimson colored flamingos
