All mods are taken down (hidden in reality) in response to their official additions, it's kind of an unspoken agreement that modders have with frontier. Only in rare cases such as gabboi's coyote will they stay up, where they might be renamed to prevent conflicts will offical files since they will have the same file names.

Aren't they always taken down when the animal officially is added to the game?
I always thought they were discontinued but stay there. I'm learning this now haha. To bad because for some of the animals i do prefer the modded versions, like the raccoon dog. I Guess i'll just wait for remasters then.
So, guess it all comes down to tomorrow's livestream. Will we or will we not get anymore DLCs?

We still haven't gotten the grey crowned crane, frontier will absolutely surely take the time to add it to the next dlc. They wouldn't leave us without one of the most iconic zoo birds right

Just like they definitely won't leave us without the golden pheasant, mandarin duck, Himalayan monal, Victoria crowned pigeon, black swan, roseate spoonbill, Temminck's tragopan, southern ground hornbill, helmeted guineafowl, marabou, white stork, a pelican, an ibis, a goose, or a domestic duck, that'd never happen! We get so many birds a year!

no most mods that straight up add pack animals get removed to stop issues with people getting essentially dlc animal for free. If the model if good enough sometimes it comes back as a remake.
However some of the older mods do exist that break this convention but its getting less frequent.
What time should we expect the dlc to be released?
