Super small thing: The description for marine equipment is not correct, it says "Consumed by: All, except Agricultural" where it should be "Agricultural"

I can confirm this is happening for me as well since the patch, game has always been silky smooth for me most of the time (only minor stutter was when making fsd jumps), but now when approaching planets it sometimes hitches as if the fps momentarily drops from 60 to like 30 or lower.

Can confirm this, I even crashed into a sun because my game froze when I emerged from hyperspace.

What has happened to bounty hunting in rings around planets?

1. I was after a sidewinder who was 'wanted'. As soon as I hit him I got a 203cr bounty on my head and a 'Wanted' status tagged to me. ???
2. Where have all the wanted anaconda's gone? Haven't seen any for a week and I have been in various systems looking.
3. NPC's mining nothing?
4. Asteroids disappearing?

Anyone else had these issues?

1. I thought that was my imagination, I am not sure what causes it because it happens really sporadically
2. When they are there they are plentiful; I fought 3 in a row last night. I think different areas of extraction sites give different results and will spawn the exact same type of enemy. If you don't like what you see at your current extraction site go to another one at the same ring system, I have seen up to 3 on the same planet.
3. I have seen this as well, I flew into the end of his beam expecting to hit an asteroid that was invisible, nothing was there.
4. haven't noticed this.

1: An odd stutter introduced with patch 1.04 when coming into close proximity to astral bodies(planets, sun etc etc.). Was fine in last patch.
I've had this very same stutter since beta v3.03. Filed a ticket, no response. For me, the stutter has improved marginally in a recent patch (can't remember which one) but it's still very evident. I even get a little bit of stutter at the spinning spaceship loading screen. I can play any other game maxed out.

Sometimes I can not read parts of of ongoing missions when I bring them up in transactions. The words in entire sections are completely missing!

Sometimes I have to lock destination twice since 1.04, I am not sure when or how it happens at the moment, but it is usually when I lock destination outside of a station, and it seems intermittent (I have posted another thread but here seems more appropriate)

Slow down message shows in supercruise more often, deliberate?

Since a day or two before the 1.04 release, slow down comes up if you go anywhere near a planet or star, which in some cases could still be a hundred to several hundred Ls away, has the slow down been changed to show under any gravitational effect rather than when you are going to fast for your destination?

It appears to think any nearby planet you may be getting affected by is your destination, even if you are halfway across the system from your target.

This happens in supercruise when a planet or mass has even the slightest impact on thrust.
It may be a deliberate change and not a bug

kill count reset

Is there a point to having my mission kill count reset because I have encountered that random NPC who thinks I should be killing authority ships rather than pirates? For example, I have two kills toward mission completion, find that random "pirate leader", who, mysteriously is 'clean', and his counter offer resets my kill count. My only alternative to this behavior is to search resource extraction locations rather than USS's for my kills.

Alpha blend between placeholder and planet is incorrect

When planet hunting, the planets appear to pop into view.

On closer inspection the geometry is loaded far too late.
The geometry is usually much larger than the placeholder by the time it has alpha blend is noticeable, this breaks immersion.

The placeholder lighting appears to not match the geometry lighting, giving the impression (an optical illusion) that the placeholder is in front of the geometry while blending.

As the alpha blended geometry becomes visible it appears as the placeholder in front, surrounded by a much larger geometric object (planet).

Happens when travelling to a planet in supercruise when the planet is first visible as some sort of placeholder

Has been the case since at least as early as version 1.03.

I have a support ticket and another thread but posting here is more appropriate I thought

Stray strike wanted status issue: Widely discussed hopefully it can be addressed in near future?

Having a stray strike hit another ship in a battle results in a wanted status, and the other ships immediately coming after you, this has been widely discussed, and maybe a single strike on a ally attacking a wanted pirate should not issue a wanted status for the first stray shot providing it didn't penetrate the shield of the victim, the fine is justifiable.

Some testing I did with not receiving bounties.

After patch 1.04, I went out to an Independent Anarchy system to try my hand at a Nav Beacon. All kills were scanned according to the scenario prior to engagement, and all kills received bounty credit message.
.
Below is what I tested and my results:
.
*** Scenario 1 ***Kill Warrant Scanner and Cargo Scanner in same fire group, same subgroup, using simultaneous scan:
[1] Kill Warrant Scanner
[1] Cargo Scanner
Result:
All bounties killed using this setup received kill and bounty credit message, but did not appear in transactions tab.
.
*** Scenario 2 ***
Kill Warrant Scanner and Cargo Scanner in same fire group, separate subgroups, using simultaneous scan:
[1] Kill Warrant Scanner
[2] Cargo Scanner
Result:
All bounties killed using this setup received kill and bounty credit message, but did not appear in transactions tab.
.
*** Scenario 3 ***
Kill Warrant Scanner and Cargo Scanner in same fire group, separate subgroups, scanning only with Kill Warrant Scanner:
[1] Kill Warrant Scanner
[2] Cargo Scanner
Result:
All bounties killed using this setup received kill and bounty credit message, and appeared in transactions tab.
.
*** Scenario 4 ***
Kill Warrant Scanner and Cargo Scanner in same fire group, separate subgroups, scanning with Kill Warrant Scanner and then Cargo Scanner afterwards:
[1] Kill Warrant Scanner
[2] Cargo Scanner
Result:
All bounties killed using this setup received kill and bounty credit message, and appeared in transactions tab.
.
*** Summary ***
Simultaneous Kill Warrant and Cargo scans seem to cause a lost transaction; avoid simultaneous scans with these utilities.

Oh god yes perhaps one of the most annoying aspects of the game right now (for me). Attacked a wanted anaconda today had him down to 5% AI systems security flew in front of my fire, bang now I have 4 enemy including the Anaconda!

White monitor screen in hyperspace. I've had this problem about six times overall since the beginning of gamma when I started playing. The last two times it has been while in hyperspace. I'm not positive that's when it's happened in the past.

I play in windows 1600x900 mode on my 1920x1080 screen. My entire monitor screen will go white. I use a Corsair 1500 headset and can still hear the game. I can hear it respond to controls, as well. I created a Voice Attack command to exit the game for just this reason and that works. However, when the game closes the screen goes from all white to all black. Nothing restores any windows or the desktop, not even Ctrl-Alt-Del. I'm forced to use the power button. At reboot I'm asked if I want to launch Windows normally.

My specs are in my sig + Corsair 1500 headset, Saitek X-52 Pro, Razer keyboard. I just found the Corsair driver to be out of date and updated. I'll post back any results. I always have Chrome in the background with Yahoo mail, Gmail, Tweetdeck, and often a route planning site open. I also usually have the latest version of TeamSpeak and Voice Attack running whilte I play. I did not have TeamSpeak running this last time.

Thanks.

**Edit** New Corsair software did not fix. Loading MSI Afterburner to check temps during gameplay.

Commodities Market -

If the demand or supply column has an 8 digit figure, the last number drops down to the next line(demand) or is missing (supply). First noticed at Polyakov Station in the Duamta System.

I saw this too

I've seen the disappearing asteroids

I would say that there are too many NPC pirates attacking miners, currently mining and bounty hunting offer next to no incentive when you can earn 5 times as much in an Adder in the same amount of time unless you attack something extremely high risk

Just lost my ASP :(

Was following a wanted npc at some speed in an asteroid field when a huge asteroid just appeared in front of me. Crash! Game over man, GAME OVER!

The disappearing asteroid bug, unlucky

Since the latest patch the "landing aid" inside stations only work half the time.
I can still land but it's difficult to find the exact spot without harming the ship. Have tried to go up and around a bit but nothing triggers it.
This has never happened to me before.

This seems to be intermittent, its happened to me on and off, but less so recently. It's frustrating though

1.04 - No trade or cartography data in galaxy map (no icons for those features appear when I hover over stars).

UPDATE: No planets in the next system I jumped to - but a station orbiting nothing that I could dock with...oh dear. Galaxy broken, please fix!

I think that means the data is missing and you have to hunt for it as an explorer, try the D-Scanner near the station

Looks like a pretty nice game, but it needs more polish before I attempt to play it again.
Bug list for me:
1. Validation errors when upgrading patches
2. I can land easily and consistently in the docking tutorial. But when it comes to some stations, the docking doesnt always latch as easily. Or upward thrust doesnt work to allow you to re-try and you end up scraping around. Or slow downward thrust is messed up, eg. tap <down> makes ship go down slowly. tap <down> again and ship goes down slowly. tap <down> a third time and ship goes down very quickly and SLAM! onto the landing pad.
3. Trading. If a market states that a product is exported to a particular system and there is a demand for it, I fill my cargo, travel to that system, but there is only one station and it has no commodity market. Doh!
4. To get around these bugs in the interim, a Save/Load feature should be allowed.

These bugs make the game not very enjoyable for me.
I'm happy to give it some time to mature.

The landing issue is mostly you to be honest, though they could really do with a sensitivity curve on the joystick, trading use Slopey's trading tool, its only what should be in the game.

I just witnessed the untimely demise of three innocent NPCs. The station destroyed them because their "leave station" timer timed out. And that happened because another NPC was blocking the station exit, being stuck inside the "cowcatcher".

I would have been shot too, if I hadn't pushed past.

Shouldn't the entrance blocker be the one that gets destroyed, not innocent bystanders who couldn't get out because the only way out was blocked?

NPC docking needs to be sorted out, I'm always seeing them stuck, I've been rammed by them three or four times in the docking port, and I make a point of flying in and out steadily and not too fast, the ones in big ships seem to completely ignore your presence, and the number that crash in and around the station only to be blown up is startling.

I have a 400 Cr fine to pay for being rammed in the docking port in Empire space within the next 22 hours, I feel lucky to have survived.

Indeed, this seems to be the case at the moment. Hopefully there's a fix coming up soon, having those two scanners under the same fire group and button is such a great and convenient setup to have.

I figured out the ship destruction for no reason glitch happening to some peoples.

You can actually collide with your own landing gear if you fly really fast or at some angles. I suspect you can also collide with your hardpoints and the cargo you eject from your ship.
