Better yet, I need to scrape up enough cash to build my second gaming PC in my second home!).
I need to buy an Xbox controller... I simply can't fly with touchpad!!! (Better yet, I need to scrape up enough cash to build my second gaming PC in my second home!).
Anyway, will be signing up shortly and Buckyballing it it there... The Golden Phallus™ shall sail again...
Z...
Why would you need two homes and two PCs ? Gimme one of each !
If you're Buckyballing it there Z, don't forget to sign up for the actual Buckyball Themed race to Jacques: https://forums.frontier.co.uk/showt...Long-Haul-(a-Buckyball-Racing-Club-challenge)
Universal Cartographics was definitely there (that was how I got to allied with the minor faction), and so were repairs, refueling and rearming. There was no mission board, and I'm quite uncertain about outfitting. I might be wrong, but I think there was some outfitting but no shipyard.Does anyone actually remembers what Jaques did offer as for services, prior to his failed attempt jumping to Beagle point, 'cause I don't know.
Correct, there was very limited outfitting, but no shipyard.Universal Cartographics was definitely there (that was how I got to allied with the minor faction), and so were repairs, refueling and rearming. Frankly, if it became the same today, I'd probably move there for a long while. Although route planning in the core can be a royal pain in the six with a high jump range.
Done with? Heh. Rumor is that there's a mining CG out there next, and more to come after that. In the immortal words of my daughter....WICTORY!Bit the bullet and going with this Python build to haul some stuff out to Jax. → https://coriolis.io/outfit/python/0...022f2i.AwRj4yoo.MwBjIRnaCY56VxA=?bn=Cargothon
Could save around 20 mil and gain 2LY going with a more streamlined core, but I just hate how the larger ships handle. Not sure how people can stand flying them in general. [blah]
Will be glad to be rid of it and back in my exploration Vulture build when this is done with. [up]
Greetings CMDRs,
First poster long time lurker here. I've been inspired by the Jaques Station story and am looking to make a new life for myself on the fringes of civilized space. I'm wondering if I should take the leap and make the voyage or not. I've been playing for two months now and have a decked out Cobra MK3. I've mostly been collecting bounties and doing long range resource hauling. Do you think Jaques has a place for me? I want to feel sure about this before I make the plunge.
Thanks.

I dont see why not to move there completely, but the reality is that at the moment, on this date, theres nothing much you can do there. But to mine manually (without limpets) and to prospect and explore the surrounding systems, thats just about it..
Hi guys/gals, first post. I recently got the game and for the last 200 hours (not consecutively mind you) I have been doing almost exclusively bounty hunting. When I saw this community goal I loaded up an Asp X and wandered out into the "black ocean" with 8 units of power generators, more for the idea of doing it/RP value, rather then for the reward. Now that I am here in Jaques company, I find myself going stir crazy and longing for my Vulture (though after flying for so many hours in the asp X, it will feel like flying with a scuba mask on, got to love the visibility of the asp x!). I would be more than willing to throw my hat in the ring and fly my Vulture out here to defend mining operations/ escorting loads (I guard my friend's type 7 often when he does runs).
Feel sorry for the guy that was 10,000LY into his trip to Jaques before he realised he'd forgotten to pick up his cargo! (post on the E: D FB page...)
