theory to agree
I support this theory. In another thread https://forums.frontier.co.uk/showthread.php/168253-The-Quest-To-Find-Raxxla there are some assumptions and indications that correspond to what we´re seeing:
"Door that is also the key" -> To me the middle structure looks very much like a key, there is a ring, there is a key bit. And to me that looks like a giant machine, like I mentioned earlier, that just got to unclamp an spring open. Voilá door to the stars. The cool long SRV racing path from the key down to the key bit seems to be a ramp even, that´s going to aim up to the sky (not very steep apparantly) What would the angle be, can that be measured and lead to a direction analysis? Would it point towards a known galaxy/star cluster?
My conclusio, of course without proof yet: xdeath has found that "place".
And: The Devs would place such a "door" a couple of lightyears away from the bubble, so the transportation to a far, distant place felt a bit like an effort, but would not be too much of a drawback.
Could this possibly be a starmap to Raxxla? I don't think Raxxla was ever linked to the Thargoids as being theres, just that it was an ancient world with interdimensional portals that the Dark Wheel exploited for multiversal riches and power.
Perhaps this is the race that built Raxxla, and they're showing whoever finds this the way.
Why else would you build walls with supporting structures behind them if they weren't for defenses? What if this is all part of a symbol drawn to space faring races that find it in the future. They leave snippets of their ancient race for those that find them, such as the urn and casket, and they leave data on their civilisation for those that learn their language, but the overall site seems to house no function - its just a very specific shape and form.

"Place that isn´t a place" -> The location we found has nothing interesting, just a rock inspace like a billion othersMission [2] mentions a rumour that talks about:"A Certain celestial body. Place that isn't a place, door that is also the key. The myth.". Upon delivery you receive a message mentioning a map and a context for coordinates.

-> isn´t that waht we´re currently also doing, trying to decrypt data crystals? We´ve found some triangle inscriptions on the glowing things. The Dark Wheel has lost[6]? the location of Raxxla and are currently trying to decrypt data crystals? to recover the location. Missions[2][3][5] indicate that the Dark Wheel is having no luck decrypting the data crystals themselves and are employing the services of others to assist in this endeavour, directly and indirectly.
Raxxla is in an another galaxy and the only way to get to it is using the key;the gateway placed in our galaxy. Where would one place an alien gateway in our galaxy?
