Not the last time I played it.

"Once again we would like to state that our game does not follow a Pay to Win model, nor does it intended to do so in the future.
You can get better looking ships with full synergy, yes, but regular ships are just as good. Some of them, when fully synergized are even better."

Just from a quick google

I have to admit, I'm a little confused about this as well.

I`m absolutely shocked (forum lvl shocked) about this right now - like, what the actual Hyperspace - you have to be some really racial/gender obsessed twisted individual to pull racist card about PP figures... I call some serious issues.

All about the small details in SC. HUD renders in third person

That is such affectation. Why waste time on this detail at THIS point. Add it later for sure if it's a thing but ummmmm basics first.

People seriously having issues with PP portraits?? What kind of twisted world do we live in?! I see Asian, Hispanic, Afroamerican, Caucasian... male, female - are you kidding me?? What more you ppl want??

I don't even notice stuff like this until somebody points it out and makes a big fuss about it. You're right, it is kind of twisted. Maybe, if we all declared our ethnicity we could have proportional representation in the game. Would that make them happy I wonder.

Premium ships are easier and much faster to obtain if you spend real money to obtain them (You can buy premium ships without real money however it is a much slower process), they also have non-combat benefits over non-premium ships. Premium ships are a great option for people that don't have the time to grind out credits for non-premium ships.

Non-Premium ships are bought with Credits
Premium ships are bought with Galactic Standards
Premium ships do not require repairs.
All Premium ships generate 20% Free Synergy. Non-Premium ships can have up to 5% Free Synergy.
All Premium ships start with full synergy.

Back during release you could not get the premium ships other then cash shops, this looks alot better now.

That's the thing. If you decide in advance you want to be offended, you can find a reason.

I asked Adept to demonstrate what he wanted, he knew I would do exactly what he did to FD and examine whatever he produced with a view to finding something underrepresented and then complaining about it. It's a no-win as there's only so much diversity you can cram into such a limited number of pictures.

He knew it was impossible playing by the rules he applied to FD, so he popped me on ignore. Forum combat logging if you will.

Oh good, that's alright then. The objective mix of ethnicities and skin clours doesn't matter because you personally don't feel it's a problem. I'm glad we have you as an objective touch stone who can tell when everybody is being properly represented. A social conservative white male will help us determine when things are equal and fairly represented. Case closed

I didn't realize race was on objectively identifiable thing. None of the characters have "race" listed in any of their vital statistics so this is literally just you (and I and everyone) assigning racial labels to people based on their appearance (and names I guess?)

How many caucasians do you believe are in PowerPlay? By my count there are 5 if you include the new Yuri Grom character. I'd like to know first of all how many Caucasians you can identify are in the PowerPlay lineup, and second of all how many is too many?

Is this an unreasonable thing to ask? You've made an assertion that something is wrong with the racial characteristics of the characters,, but can you please be specific about it?

CRs obsession with detail or maybe its way to get more money...look, how cool this looks give us more money...
But I think at this point they need to start to deliver gameplay since dreamcrafting can not last forever..or maybe can in SC universe ?!

.

Pay to win: I dont go by "what everyone says" thats a waste of time and rings of liberal non sense. The "fact" is by definition if you can earn everything on sale in game it makes it not pay to win.

That is patently false.

If i can buy something that has an ingame performance boon, then it is pay to win. Doesn't matter if i can *also* earn it just by playing.

Especially with larger ships the time investment is planned to be immense. Purchasing a ship is much quicker, and LTI is a purchase only, not something gettable just by playing.

But even if it was, it'd still be P2W.

As much as I criticize RSI I have to admit - their art and 3d modelling department is usually doing its job really good!
But also - as much as I like the small details and polish, I prefer to see working solid game foundation first.

Yes, it looks cool but it also uses additional CPU/GPU resources and in the end game runs in "cinematic" 20 fps with all that detailed graphics running in background...

Personally I'd count eight, if I exclude Denton. Li Yong-Rui seems Asian'ish. 40% of them I would identify :)P) as female. To me that suggests that the powers-that-be are more 'fairly' represented in ED than in real-life. Beyond that I am not sure if ED should strive to make some kind of political point, or be a front-runner in this or that debate. ED is ED, it would make absolutely zero sense to put a dark-skinned person there as an Imperial figure of power, as the lore just doesnt back it up. ED is filled with all kinds of distgusting things: slavery, corruption, nepotism, rampant weapon and drugs trafficking, you name it. I fail to see how having a happy stock-photo powerplay lineup would make things 'better'. It'd be just weird IMHO.
