Those who get it will snort coffee out their noses and laugh. If you didn't get the humour, then don't worry about it. You just have a different sense of humour, that's all.

Actually, for non-native English speakers, catching that type of irony/sarcasm/humour, can sometimes be very difficult. It's about both culture and comprehension of the English language, but probably more about culture.
Being a non-native speaker, but having lived in the UK for 7 years, I can tell you that actually getting a grip on the English language is really hard.
Easy to learn initially, but really hard to catch the details and nuances of the language.
I did like the salty comment though. I think it was a really nice touch and took it as an acknowledgement from FDEV that 2.3 was buggy.
Caveat: I have no idea which participants in this thread are English native speakers or not.
