Personal attacks are not unnecessary no matter what. And I am not doing advertising I am just spreading the information on this project as someone who follows it closely I have a lot of information on the matter. I don't consider the Elite thread and the people there in the SC forums doing advertisement no idea why you consider spreading of info here one?

Sounds reasonable but here's the problem - when your information is completely unbalanced by virtue of relentlessly omitting, even denying, all issues and concerns etc then it is closer to misinformation, propaganda, and advertising.

just like the ars technica article you posted and then went on to defend in spite of the fact it misinformed the reader that the PU would be out in 2015.

Before you say other peoples posts are the same but the other way around - by in large they don't claim to be 'spreading information', only their perspectives.

All your information are very biased and one sided. When you confront with the true facts that don't suit you, very vast you will skipped them and continue to thrown all the info what any of us in here can read on SC official site.

I didn't know that there was sides to the information CIG gives out? So what side are you on? I back all my talk with facts I have from CIG. Most of you guys don't believe in CIG well bad luck they are running this project. And I never ran away from facts that don't suit me I just don't want to partake in a conversation that either I have no time for which is sometimes the case when 10 people go against me here. Can't be bothered to answer all. Or that you guys claim some crazy stuff sometimes. Like a recent example would be

So SC is now more focused on combat? no trading? exploring?
I pledge for a space sim, not a combat sim :(

Yes, she is also CR wife.

Not sure how the company will make progress when every part of it has to drop everything and work on a single patch.

Seriously?

I am all for discussing the pros or cons of AC which we did and I gave you a review of it back in the day but the information CIG releases is pretty clear and some people love taking it out of context to fit their own anti SC views.

I like spreading info I do this in several forums to keep certain topics updated. That's just who I am. I saw the nice Elite thread in the SC forum being updated and actively taken care after that's why I thought the Elite forum also could use SC information from SC insiders. I do this for several things like The Syrian Civil War in other forums as an example.

Anyway back on SC.

and I'm still waiting for a vid that shows off cool flight maneuvers and tricks that you can do in AC.

I need any shards of hope about that flight model that anyone can give me.

This vid shows combat from a spectators perspective. It looks spectacular but, admittedly, it doesn't feel anything like that when actually flying a ship in first person.

This kinda shows manoevers from a fake specatator view. I guess it kinda looks cool.

Hah, perfect timing ;-)

If SC gets the IFCS sorted, AC will offer be the best space combat experience ever created. The attention to detail is fantastic. The current split of 6 DOF into 3 DOF and 4 DOF mode just doesn't feel right.

Yeah I wasn't looking for something like that... but yeah it looks like fun :)

Not a space sim but pew pew fun. In fact it's more fun to watch it than to play it right now.

Providing dog fighting is not part of the equation. For me if the space combat looked anything like it does in their promotional videos it would be a start. But then there's still the matter of the war thunder arcade mode controls and easy mode wide angle gamboled weapons still to deal with. However if you feel warthuder arcade mode offers the best WW2 combat experience I understand where you're coming from.

Yaw this way

Also known as a 'yaw and yawn' flight model.

I agree, War Thunder is a 100 percent arcade game, even in FRB. If I had my say SC would be Falcon 4 BMS in space.
The mouse control is definitely a big issue, I hope it will catch the attention of the HOTAS using community as AC becomes more robust and stable over time. Right now, it is hard to tell what's going wrong while playing because the IFCS and peripheral setup is still in a very early state.

Again remember Cryengine discussion we have and everything about it,your response on my concerns was CIG said this CR said that despite the hundreds of other games in this engine and their problems and issues you just ignore that and continue to quote CIG&CR.

I think Falcon BMS would be too scary for most, but definitely IL 1946 would not have been unreasonable.

There is this video I can't find now. It had some nice flying. I'll try to find it.

War Thunder in arcade mode is still a game where you need to use your brain&tactics to out maneuver enemy.AC is very far away from that atm.

True enough. CR has clearly decided to emulate it, but even that low bar remains above his reach as of yet. Similar pricing model as well you will note, and with world of tanks.

War Thunder - buy planes (point and click mouse / x-box controller)
World of Tanks - buy tanks (point and click mouse / x-box controller)
Star Citizen - buy space ships (point and click mouse / xbox controller)

All other controllers supported but not required, often disadvantaged due to the fact there is no point of parity between zero order mouse and joysticks.

Regardless of the non-stop avalanche of there's nothing more to it.

Atm, IFCS and balancing of yaw vs pitch thrust output is simply broken in AC.

However, flight physics are mostly accurate, except for some weight values of objects and analogous thrust strength moderation. Comparing this to the cartoony physics model of War Thunder would be unfair.

In real terms what difference does it make? you click here you click there. The fact more maths are going into flying the ship for you...A part fails maybe and your computer has to accurately adjust as it flies for you as you continue to direct with your mouse? big deal.

To be fair, I play AC with a force sensing stick, throttle, rudder pedals and I end up as top or 2nd best player most of the time. However, I'm used to playing with flight sticks since the early 90s; a player who freshly starts his flying career with SC will do much better with mouse/keyboard as it is set up right now with that "Freelancer-esque" follow the ball mode.
Hence, the average Joe want have the passion/time to climb the steeper learning curve of HOTAS control and stay with mkb.
