We ALL should protest against FDev while stop playing Elite dangerous!!!

Well..., let me say this to you all unemployed 24/7 players: ALOT of people have also a real life...

Ah, the mythical unemployed full-time gamer who, although jobless, can still somehow afford a kick-Asp gaming PC and spends all his time grinding out MMOs. Never met such a person. Never heard of such a person in real life.

It's all in your imagination OP.

Actually, I was that for about a year. It was nice, but making money is nicer. Got a good 800 hours in ED during that year, though.

3.0 is buggy
Game is grindy

....but I genuinely think FD are still on our side, and no I will never stop playing this fantastic game :)

Agreed. I recently had a big thread on what's wrong with ED, but at no point do I actually have it in for FDEV. I don't agree with all their choices, they've made some bad design choices and put a lot of money and investment into things that people don't want (I'm looking at you Power Play and CQC) but... I think they're honest mistakes and Beyond is obviously a reaction from FDEV to 'put things right'. There will be more honest mistakes, but they're trying and I appreciate that.

It's not a major issue, and all will be right in the end I am sure. Just work arround things and change your game play if necessary

o7, and have fun

A little while ago, I stopped playing for 2 weeks. Did anyone in FD notice? Did the game change? Did anyone in the Forums ask if I was alive?

You may be surprised to learn, OP, that apparently nothing changed. Game life continued without me [blah] The same as real life, really

"Friend Ship Drive Charging...."

Boycotts almost always back fire, especially when they're silly.

(Edit: When you say "we" I assume you have a mouse in your pocket)

I just fly in small & medium ships, that way credits aren't a big deal.

I spend most of my time in one of my Anacondas, far enough away that none of this stuff matters. Aside from a $780,500 fee to repair my ship's integrity during a 20 minute stop at Dove's Enigma three weeks ago, I haven't been in a situation where my credit balance was relevant to anything in two months.

In fact, if I had departed Hillary Depot with $0cr to my name, none of the hours spent over the past sixty days would have been any different.

Well..., let me say this to you all unemployed 24/7 players: ALOT of people have also a real life. When people came home from school, work or university, they want just relax and not get to their second job lol!!!! Because Elite grind feels like a second job. You CAN'T really relax.

I am employed, and have stuff to do irl, I cannot in any way shape or form keep up with the people that have more time then me, but I don't expect to, so i set out to have fun with the game when I play it, do the stuff, play the mechanics I find fun, I've never seen the need to do the grind as you say, you 'can' grind, no question about it, but why would you? and heck why would you grind high end missions if it isn't fun?

So yeah, My expectations are lower and amount to "did I have fun?" if yes, keep playing, if no, i don't, that's how i rate all my games.

Not a chance. I love this game. I appreciate the efforts of fdev and the cmdrs who feedback on this forum, not because they want the game to fail but because they want it to succeed. Some people complain because they care.

I’ll be on later, enjoying 3.0

I have enough of this nerf meta from FDev.. really, I'm just tired about this. AND I'm sure I'm not the only one who thinks so.

SOMETHING HAS TO CHANGE, NOW!!!

The only answer to all "unplanned" things can't be to just put out the nerf hammer.
We need real solutions!

Listen, ALL ways where you can climb the grind-ladder faster, FDev nerf it.
-You can make faster money? nerf it.
-You can get faster reputation? nerf it.
-You can rank up fast at your power? nerf it. and so on. I guess you get it what I'm talking about.

The major issue with Elite is that your time you invest in this game is not worth it in comparison to the rewards you get.

And so I'm not surprised that the goldrush meta popped out. I can understand these people.

It makes me really happy, when I read posts/comments in forums where players made billions of credits in just few hours with the skimmer missions.
That's a big middle finger to FDev and their nerf meta.
I personally didn't take that chance. Unfortunately I was in Colonia.

TO ALL PEOPLE who might write/say:" Elite dangerous grind isn't that much, you can get anything fast and also have some fun".

We, the players, didn't do anything against this nerf meta, and so FDev think they can do anything but the forget that we, the players, made them what they are now. Means without us, the players, FDev is nothing!!

So hereby,
I invite all players to stop playing Elite,at least for a while. And take a pause.
FDev should realize that they exceeded a line we don't accept anymore!

what did I just read? LOL

Never had a problem making credits in this game since day one, don't have one today, can't imagine a time when I'm going to have a problem with it, so the mission adjustments don't bother me at all other than the fact I'd rather they got them right before release because it's not a good look having to keep withdrawing things for fixes. I'm sure FDev would also rather they got them right before release, so yeah, I guess we'll just see how that goes.

Not aware that they've nerfed anything to do with rep, in fact in particular with the new mission reward system allowing you to choose a more significant rep boost, it's faster to increase rep and rank now than at any point since I started playing.

Also I'm neither unemployed nor someone who games 24 hours a day and frankly, you announced yourself as being such a complete ball bag with that comment that this is all I can be bothered typing.

Oh and I don't want your stuff because it sounds like I've probably got more myself and I'd just have to find somewhere to store your crap until I can sell it.

Fly safe Commander!

We all going to need piles of credits when 3.1 "Death and Taxes" drops. You wanna be in that higher tax bracket when the powers start levying taxes to pay for the Thargoid wars, so you can get the good breaks...
