Well I would but.....well there are some interesting things going on with the Thargoids, not to mention the Guardians....and I've got some tweaking on my ships to do and I really wanted to check out these new tech gizmos. Then there is the CG, a couple of other projects and I haven't even taken my shiney new Chieftain out of the box yet!
I'm sorry but I just don't think I'll have the time to squeeze in a boycott. Have fun though.

Ahahaha, crazy stuff. Actually, nothing I have been doing has been nerfed, and I'm very impressed with Beyond chapter 1. I think I'll carry on playing thanks.

The only answer to all "unplanned" things can't be to just put out the nerf hammer.
We need real solutions!

Listen, ALL ways where you can climb the grind-ladder faster, FDev nerf it.
-You can make faster money? nerf it.
-You can get faster reputation? nerf it.
-You can rank up fast at your power? nerf it. and so on. I guess you get it what I'm talking about.

The major issue with Elite is that your time you invest in this game is not worth it in comparison to the rewards you get.

And so I'm not surprised that the goldrush meta popped out. I can understand these people.

It makes me really happy, when I read posts/comments in forums where players made billions of credits in just few hours with the skimmer missions.
That's a big middle finger to FDev and their nerf meta.
I personally didn't take that chance. Unfortunately I was in Colonia.

TO ALL PEOPLE who might write/say:" Elite dangerous grind isn't that much, you can get anything fast and also have some fun".


Well..., let me say this to you all unemployed 24/7 players: ALOT of people have also a real life. When people came home from school, work or university, they want just relax and not get to their second job lol!!!! Because Elite grind feels like a second job. You CAN'T really relax.

We, the players, didn't do anything against this nerf meta, and so FDev think they can do anything but the forget that we, the players, made them what they are now. Means without us, the players, FDev is nothing!!

So hereby,
I invite all players to stop playing Elite,at least for a while. And take a pause.
FDev should realize that they exceeded a line we don't accept anymore!

The whining has to stop.

I am and have been critical myself, but I make suggestions and proposals and voice my opinions.
Making shrill demands is poisoning the forums.

Please go play some other game if you cannot handle playing a game in the middle of development.
Things will change and get tweaked for years to come. That is the nature of developing a spacesim of this scale.
Obviously it is too much for you.

Come back in 3 years or so and have a go at it then.

I will protest against Thargoid Invasion on next thargday. I will have my Guardian Cannons ready, for who ever shows, Mother of Tharg-Hive, Mahon, Braben, Big Nervovski and the Nihilsts ... I don't care. My gun's are ready. Bugs gonna be eradicated.

Kinda weird how people use the word "nerf" these days. They didn't nerf anything, you never where supposed to make 300 mil per hour or 20 mil per minute just sitting in a station, those things are bugs and gamedevs fixing bugs is a thing they do.

I have a wife, a one year old son, two businesses and I do not feel like the credit building is to slow (engineering is another matter).

300 million per hour is ridiculous and determinal to the game. This is not a game that you get three lives and 12 levels. There is no endgame, there is no beating the game. There is no Arrow to follow, or someone to tell you where to go and what to do. There is however an entire galaxy for you to play with however you wish. Elite was made to be played for months and years, ships like anacondas and cutters should be big achievements that you need to work for. Frontier, while far from perfect, is moving in the right direction.

So all that said, why does it matter if someone gets an A-rated Cutter and a few billion in the bank in a weekend?

Although I'm irritated with this see-vid-just-nerf-everything culture taking shape, just to appease the vocal minority of killjoys more than anything else, I certainly will keep playing. I'll certainly give FD a chance to show what they've got planned. I'm more positive about the Engineers than before, thanks to you guys my binding doesn't reset every day, so....we will see.

I'm not sure this will work, FD don't care about how many people play, they care about how many people buy the micro-transactions. FD: "Oh, some players are protesting. Are sales down? Not really. Then who cares?"

You're preaching to the wrong crowd here. These forums always whitewash the actions of FDev and NEVER, EVER admit any flaws within the game. Nothying will ever change, FDev are going to keep making their game worse and worse for both new and old players alike until all but their fiercely loyal Forum shills are gone. It has happened so many times before you'd think a man like Braben would of steered clear of making the same mistakes again, apparently he didn't. Shame really, Elite: Dangerous could of been a really groundbreaking generation defining game.
