Oh my! First you are pushing for major changes to the game, about how vital it is to match the needs of the modern market, and how the world will end if these changes are not made - yet now you are asking for a refund?
You have misconstrued my arguments w.r.t the market, as I've argued the game should focus on better hauling mechanics, in particular by taking ideas from Eurotruck Simulator which bases its entire gameplay around hauling.
That discussion in any case, is entirely immaterial to being bait-and-switched like this. I didn't get to read the EULA before I bought the game and it has not been stated in any PR material that the game is going to be subsidized on advertising.
The game is already $50+ (most of us have paid a lot more than that), skins are already being sold - before launch - at $3-$5 each, it's not even being hosted on dedicated servers, and now I find out that there's going to be targeted advertising in the game?
This is pushing the line of acceptable to me and I don't support it. Asking about refunds should the game implement such advertising does not seem unreasonable. I think I am not the only one who would like to know how to go about getting a refund with this information coming to light.
You shouldn't take it personally, many places consider refunds to be a customer right. Whether you agree or disagree with their stance on an issue, they should still be allowed to get a refund.
