Though I now play on an xbox, I played in solo for the first 9 months following the launch on a ps4 on a ps4. And was involved in over a hundred interdictions by NPC's of all types. Switched to open and have been there ever since and have been interdicted more than a hundred times by both Humans and NPC's, the latter being the largest of the two groups that interdicted me. But in all those interdictions, I've only lost the mini game on six occasions in which case I was prepared and accomplished the process of either low or high waking out of the situataion. My ship of choice and the one I fly the most is an "A" graded fully enginered core and byweave generator, Python. Thus I don't get the problem, if one learns how to win the minigame it's not an issue, if one learns how to run, it's not an issue. Know what you going to do in the event of an interdiction prior to it and then without hesitation do it when interdicted. With my extremely antiquaited internet connection, my latency is such that I rarely if ever get a notice of any kind that I'm about to get interdicted until the minigame is almost competed. So when they happen, they are a complet surprise, but because I know exactly what I'll do and do it. Interdiction just slow me down a minute and then it's over and the incident is behind me. My personal record for the number of times interdicted on one mission while doing data mission for the purpose of ranking up to King was 11 times in one system. I had 20 data mission to deliver and upon every interdiction, I lost whatever distance I had getting to the next destination. But I eventually made it to all of them, and the incident was over. Well until the next group of 20 in which case I was only interdicted 5 times.
Learn how to be aware, watch you six, that's what the scanner is for, and learn how to run if and when needed. Interdicions will add a minute to ones trip, but that's all.
