ELITE: DANGEROUS - ITALIAN TRANSLATION PROPOSAL

Here i'm.
bought the commander edition on 3 platform (fisrt xbox one, ps4 later and now PC). My english is very basic, but enough to play elite in a effective way. Some of my friends aren't able becouse don't talk english at all, so italian translation is welcome!

We are thrilled to see so many Italian commanders enjoying our game and supporting the initiative to translate Elite Dangerous into Italian.
At the moment, all I can say is that we're constantly re-evaluating the languages we support in our various games, and investigate the possibility of adding further ones.
Italian is definitely on our radar as an option for the future, but I cannot yet confirm any immediate plans to support it.
Your offer to contribute to the translations is very generous and highly appreciated, and will be definitely taken into consideration.

Until then, I hope you all enjoy the game, and the new content and features added in the latest 3.3 update :)

You know you could get a lot of this done if you use some of the player's voices. Kinda like contests and maybe they could earn a choice of the paint job or a Ship Small mediumship.

me too I need Italian language! I bought the base game + horizon in these days, but I have a lot of difficulties! Please, give us this gift!

CMDR Black-Mane reporting in! I read and speak english with enough ease (always reading novels in the original language) but I have at least 2 friends who have problems with Elite being in english, one luckily understands spanish a bit, so... let's get it on with this project! Just give us guidelines for the translation and we'll do it!

I'd like this too, because I am trying to learn Italian, and having to "think" in la lingue bella whilst I play the game would certainly help :) :)

And yeah, that's one of the major issues with E:D now, people discouraged by the walls of text, by the infinite progression of lore in a foreign language and by having to understand a game which is somehow close to a simulator, in a different language. I am a Flight Simmer also, and I saw a lot of this happening with many other "games". I was the one who mastered Flight Simulator X and gave up on DCS. Language is a double steel barrier of the game has already such a complexity. We are all hopeful and patiently waiting, even because we know the work force needed to translate a game, both text and audio, to a different language.

Never give up your Lasagna guys, it's what makes us hungry😂😂😂

That's what we do each time we play, but we get taught English from when we are kids, and Italian is just an option abroad, so ...yeah, studia e impara, l'Italiano è tanto bello quanto difficile! 😉

agree. Till april update ED were a 100% unwelcome game. You had to learn by yourself lots of the game mechanics, this plus the foreign language made it a "little" too hard to play for some. Don't pretend audio being dubbed in ita, but at least texts and subtitles. I play many games only in english, but always criticized when those aren't localized in Italian. My mother language is Italian and I love it!❤
