Yes you can build coasters but it's not the finished article which is why it needs to be unlocked via a cheat code. The devs have shown off (streams, concept art, renders) and talked about a lot more (Q&A sessions) in the way of coaster related features that are still to come. The next phase of the Alpha (starting May 24th) will focus specifically on the Coaster Builder and terraforming aspects of the game and this is what people are waiting for.

Alright I see, thanks for your reply. The coaster builder is great! At first I was disappointed that we didn't have it yet, but now I'm amazed! I'm looking forward to see what is coming next.

Patience butterfly, I know May 24 seems far away but think of the awesome update were gonna get. I'm sure it'll be well worth the wait.

It would be nice that when they did do an update, they would throw in a few scenery items they feel is ready. Different trees, bushes, a new wall style. it doesn't have to be much.

Honestly the best thing I would like to see is just the group command being available so that it is a lot easier to create and move items/buildings.

After that anything else would be a plus. Maybe scale/resize so that we can change the signs, foliage or anything similar. And a few new foliage items would be awesome or to just add the different finishes of walls in the other shapes that appear to be missing as such.

Anything else I could wait for till the next major update tbh.

Downloaded this game yesterday and all I can say is, wow. I'm so glad Frontier are producing this game. I cant wait to see the final product and how this game grows over the coming years. Well done Frontier!

Hi I believe you can hold CTRL and select various pieces of a building to move rotate etc. Can't do groups of whole buildings yet though but I'm sure it be on it's on the list [big grin]

Yep you are correct, however as you say the group command so we can group separate buildings with decorations together is really what I am longing for. I have not built a lot of things I would like because of the time and effort to get it correct when if you want to move something or copy a whole area at the moment is just tedious. As you say it's on the list but am just hoping this command drops soon even if it's in it's own patch as 0.1.4 or similar tbh.

The ability to save buildings locally as well as upload them to share would be a nice addition. Sorry if this has been mentioned before. I am new and there is a lot of material to get through!

Well not only 'buildings' just a area of decoration.
So you can for example save a 'theme'-area.
