Re: Python Frustrateables

I will admit that I do not understand as of yet all of the differing modules and my setup will probably make the pepper heads start sneezing (seasoned players) but I'm here to learn and learn I shall.

My favorite way to post builds is using Elite Dangerous Market Connector. Using this, you can export your build to a shipyard like Coriolis or EDSY and then paste the link in the forum. Quick, easy and accurate, plus gives anyone looking at your build all of the info they could need.

OK I just uploaded using imagur. As you can see my hard points and utility mounts are empty and the rest I leave to your dissection and recommendation. I want maximum jump range

And the E rated stuff. OP - really is worth getting used to coriolis.io for thinking about builds.

Kind of reminds me...

I bought ED in mid 2015 (IIRC) for some PvP yuks with some friends and then I bought Horizons in mid-2016, to properly get into it, but it was a couple more months before I even attempted to try Horizons cos I wanted to re-learn all the stuff I'd forgotten about the game.

Stuff like this demonstrates why that's a good idea, unfortunately. :(

Considering FDev are trying to make the game more "newbie friendly", it seems like, perhaps, providing tutorials for some of the more convoluted aspects of the game, such as engineering, would be the best thing.

I'll try the coriolis and see what I can come up with. Can I transfer engineer mods over to a different fsd
No mate, you’ll have to re-engineer any new modules...

General rule for getting high jump range (or if you’re on a budget) is to A rate the FSD and D rate everything else.

The good news is that this will also save you a lot of credits and the 5A FSD for the Python is only 5mil.

Grouchy wouchy I can't believe I've been so stupid. I've dived into this game without asking for any help in the beginning. I hope folks can learn from my doing that. Don't just spend maximum amount of money on everything. Initially I purchased top dollar everything only to find im out of pocket and not going anywhere fast. A RATE FSD AND D EVERYTHING ELSE.. I will do that tonight and report back my results.

I engineered an E rated fsd once. Sucks at the time but ultimately matters very little.

What are your goals with this build?

Leaving the bubble for some exploration or just want to travel around doing missions more efficiently?

Well, if you’ve got yourself into a Python and unlocked an engineer you’ve not done too badly! 👍
