As we already established, white knights do not exist. One of your best examples for a white knight was Stuart GT, who happens to be one of the initiators of the Open Letter / Petition. Since that was quite clearly criticism, your definition of white knight is demonstrably nonsense, which is the only hard fact here.

Not too bad considering NMS had a major content update recently, while Elite only had the ARX shop update with (allegedly
NMS has huge peaks of players at major content updates, but they all fade away from the game rather quick.
NMS only manages to keep a few percent(~5% of last peak) of players interested.
Meanwhile Elite has kept ~25% of its all-time peak, playing the game regularly.
It seems Frontier has a solid foundation to continue building on.

CG weapon unlocks
I don't understand why FDEV decided to add new weapons with the CG when they could just add the new synthesis recipes to our existing weapons. I tried a few Megaship defense scenarios and noticed some strange AI behaviour. First, I find these scenarios are quite fun, so if you haven't tried it yet you definetely should. Just drop out at the next Megaship and the scenario usually starts within 2-3 minutes. Now to the problem, the game...Galnet feed: Nice touch but mostly useless
The Galnet feed in the main menu is a nice addition but it's also pretty useless. You can't switch between the articles and you can't click on them for the full version. I don't know if it makes sense to waste lots of dev hours for it but the term half baked comes to mind... So if anyone finds...FDEV, the amount of optional modules is too damn high!
