Look, interesting ring system.
Moons a/b are between 1st and 2nd ring. Cannot scan 2nd ring - "miss". And moon C is about 90 degree to rings outside.

Back playing around with Thargoids and Guardians... wondering if the barnacle seeding and meta-alloys is not just a biological imperative... I’m trying to figure out how I can use EDDB/bodies, EDSM/bodies, Spansh/search etc to find a system with something and something else, but failing at the moment. Say a NS and a water giant, or a Red Dwarf and an ELW, or a Wolf Rayet and a NS.
Any ideas?

You need to write own tool. Or explorers forums has topic, guy there did a clone of DB and makes pictures, like visitied W-R, too hot NS etc. Ask him.
I started to do one for rings ... queries EDSM for up-to 100ly around something, then selects rings. But amount of variants is huge of what you want to query. I could make some generic, for example you do query using Lua.

Notifications have been playing up for a while on the forums (fora?). I monitor about a dozen threads and don't always get notification of an update. Sometimes don't even get a notification that somebody’s liked one of my posts. I often sulk in a corner!
Nah, my expertise with software is limited to pulling on a woolly jumper when the weather turns cold! I even failed to download the EDSM database into an Excel spreadsheet for analysis.
