Anyone think this is a clue? A tiny bit obvious so you know what you are doing?

Other than Gimili is in Raxxla? ;-)

The Ysidril Tree, right? Seems clue like to me, and to many others.
I like all clues/theories/suppositions/assumptions/hypothesise - especially with Pink Floyd in the background ;-)

Keep going!
Two of the more notable albums. These are actually basically the same album, one is a set of live tours, the other studio recorded. Note the amount of digits on the mans hands.
Also note the album track layout (slightly modified due to no copy paste). The parenthesis show alternative songs, or song names, during the live performances.
The Man:
1.Introduction (Granchester Meadows)
2.Daybreak (Also Granchester Meadows)
3.Work
4.Teatime (Alan's psychedelic breakfast)
5.Afternoon (Biding my time) from the Relics album.
6.Doing It (The Grand Vizier's Party)
7.Sleep (Quicksilver)
8.Nightmare (Cymblaine)
9.Daybreak, Pt. II (Cymbaline as well)
10. Labyrinth (The Grans Vizier's Garden Party)

The Journey:
11.The Beginning (Green is the colour)
12.Beset By Creatures of the Deep (Careful with that axe Eugene)
13.The Narrow Way
14.The Pink Jungle (Piper at the gates of dawn)
15.The Labyrinths of Auximenes (Let there be more light)
16. Footsteps/Doors
17.Behold the Temple of Light (The narrow way Part 3)
18.The End of the Beginning (Celestial voices)

Obfuscation, implying maybe "Obfuscated on the outer rim" is the connection. Both albums are about the Hero's Journey, in Pink Floyd's classic method, trippy af.
This write up is so small and empty, I almost feel bad for doing it. I have future plans to display these possible connections in great depth, and really, my video series is a large part of that.

Another layman here. I just wanted to add that the word brow seems either equally or more important. Is this telling us that the jewel is high up in the galactic plane or situated in a connecting 'arm spiral'. I know this is basic and I applaud the deep research above. I know this isn't contributing much. I'll go back to sweeping in the corner lol.
Edit - I've just realised I was replying to a much earlier discussion. Apologies. It was the jewel on the brow clue.

No worries, all levels of experience are welcome. There's always the chance we are over thinking some things so the outside pov might be more helpful than we might initially assume. Incidentally I've learned a great deal from this thread about many things I would otherwise not have learned

The closest I have found matching direct coordinates, are Greek numbers.

RA, X, XLA = Rho Alpha, Chi, Chi Lambda Alpha = 101, 600, 631

Never found anything at any of the +- options that gives.

I have a more positive vibe for the Right ascension = 20(Roman XX). Not sure how the LA fits, though.
I lean towards LAtitude. Sometimes, astronomers still refer to declination as latitude. And I thought the numerals would be valid for both RA and LA (latitude/declination).

Would you please tell or show me who and where?

Sorry, I meant who has discussed this topic already and where ? OP is suggesting this in his post.

I'm sure there are other mentions in other threads, but my search gave me an older post from Cmdr Noobilite in this very thread.

I agree with the overthinking. I've been playing some point and click adventure games. Kathy rain and tumbleweed Park. There's so many puzzles where I missed the obvious part of the clues. After each puzzle I was annoyed at myself for not seeing the obvious. I suppose that's the beauty of those games. A small nod to our short comings.

LA? They’ll make a movie of the Quest,
when we find it

Want to choose your actor? I think you’ll be played by Mads Michelson, or Stellan Skarsgard
Ninja Penguin would have to be Jet Li
Me? - Bruce Willis, he’s already got the hairstyle! 😁
Simulacrae, given his current pursuits, would have to be Michael Caine
(“You were only supposed to blow the bloomin doors orff”!!!)

😂🤣😆

Please don't take this as an insult.
If I cannot engage you enough to look beyond the first line, than I have failed, and my discussion and presentation of what I perceive to be possible clues, cannot be heard, or understood.

Ya I can see the heros journey being important especially to Holdstocks work - He really got into the Idealized Image of the Hero with his Mythago Series... If the Raxxla mystery is tied to Holdstock in some way ... It would make sense that the journey is something along those lines.

You should see the 'Remember Salome' thread. 2 flipping years it took to solve and 99.9% of it was overthinking, asking the ancient Greeks, looking at the stars, just about everything but the thing we were supposed to do.

I wouldn't stress it too much. I doubt fdev would use ideas from The Expanse to hide clues for their game. Although I do recommend watching the show and reading the books it was inspired by.

I suspect FD wouldn’t use something like that, they might be laying themselves open to copyright infringement etc.
I couldn’t understand the belter patois in the show & gave up on it. Did read the books, but didn’t enjoy the last one.

Ah don’t worry about it. I decided a long time ago that life is too short, especially at my age, so I tend to glance through things and only read bits that specifically interest me. I’m afraid mythology is not one of them, though sometimes I struggle with wikipedia entries to help with bits of Quest clues. Spent this morning googling bits of TDW toast against greek mythology & I think I mythed the point. 😟

See my “Paradise Lost” hypothesis from

Mmm -we’ve considered Milton, Greek myth, Roman myth, Homer, ancient Irish barrow sites, .............
But we haven’t actually tried Lord of The Rings!

Nope. Missed LotR, but we have done star trek, star wars, red dwarf and hitchhiker's guide.....

Speaking of which, if sirens of the deepest void, actually pointed us to the area of space they have since named "The Void" - isnt that galactic region number 42 - which of course would be the answer....

Exploring what it’s telling us, or meant to tell us, is what this thread is all about.
“Brow” in UK English has a couple of meanings, & I often have to check the Oxford English Dictionary in looking at FD’s “clues”
1) the part of the face above the eyes and below the hair, the forehead
2) the eybrow
3) the top part of a hill

🤔 should you use the Cambridge dictionary? I imagine the Oxford dictionary is spat on, in FDevs part of the world :)

Ah but we need to build a super computer to understand the question!
Let us call it “Earth”!!! 🐭🐁

Correct the word seems key to me. Isn't brow also the thing used to connect a ship to its port?
