What did you do in Planet Zoo today?

The overhead view ...

And this is the view Mr Lion gets ...

Now bear in mind that I'm a Noob. I have just started really finding my feet with the building tools ... I have 400 plus hours in this game but have only recently started to experiment with my own ideas and my own things rather than downloading other people's stuff ... and it's great to be able to see the results of a lot of trial and error taking shape. If you are intimidated by the idea of taking some of that on, watch the great videos on YouTube by Paulsley and DeLadysigner and others ... I am learning so much watching these folks and gaining a lot of confidence as well.

Aren't those Objects included in the Main Game?
At first I thought the Lion Sculptures need to much Space in there but it looks good from above. Great Job 👍

Are they really? I thought they were only available if you had the Africa add-on :) I do love them, I must admit.

Yeah those lions ... I definitely unlocked them after researching the Africa pack ... I originally had a wolf and a bear facing off haha!

I wouldn't have kept them, I'd had to find something else ... I was delighted when those lions became available :)

You should refer to it as Building Set. That's less confusing

Yesterday, i got gold on the 1st Arctic campaign level. Bronze and silver were easy. Ironically, I went bankrupt and couldn't buy simple things, but I had my 8th habitat animal available, so what I did was I waited until I could release 6 animals to the wild, researched Polar Bear to 5, and once everything was done, my final goal was the 8th habitat animal. So I got my Snow Leopard, and I placed it in the Polar Bear habitat, just to pass it. Bernie was so proud

A lot of people are playing through the campaign right now, eah?

Can someone give me a run-down on exactly what the rewards for every level are?

I want to know if it's worthwhile going for it before the new release!

Basically, whenever you click a campaign it shows an animal statue in stone, if you haven't completed it. All those statues i believe are automatically unlocked. Now, when you complete the career (bronze, silver, gold), you get that statue in those forms

So if I've got the statues I've already unlocked ... where do I find them in the game?

I'd have definitely used the lion from Scenario One in my build.

I have done some layout work now and tried to spread out my reptile house. But I have to wait because I won't finish it until the DLC drops and I think I need to make more money before I can afford a ton of crocodiles:

And now I don't really know what to do in this Franchise. I really like the parc and I recently added the Red Panda next to the Pangolins, so now I'm basically waiting for the DLC to continue with the new ones. The Sun Bear and Binturong will go to the upper right, where the path-dots are laid out. So I might follow your guys' example and give the scenarios another try this weekend!

Wow :) Now that's some work :)

You've probably used another Lion Statue. These Statues will be made available with the Update that is released on the 30th

Oh, I also am trying to get acomplete zoopedia (partly for the Steam achievement but also so that I can enjoy Franchise without research centers). I've completed all of South America, I'm missing the following (that I've already started):

African savannah: African Elephant (practically done); Hippopotamus; Giant Tiger Land Snail; Goliath Beetle

Australia: Eastern Brownsknake; Eastern Blue-Tongue Lizard; Giant Burrowing Cockroach; Common Death Added; Saltwater Crocodile

India: Indian Elephant; Giant Forest Scorpion

Aaaah brilliant :) I see now why you guys are trying so hard to get them all, the ones I've unlocked so far (only a couple) look superb.

They will be excellent to add to the parks.

First time I have been playing this week. I have been trying too hard to find motivation to continue the Asian tropical house I started to have a reason to use the new content. The motivation for tropical content just haven't been there for me for a while, and I realized today there is no reason to try and force it.

So today I instead went in to my ongoing desert project and got some detailing going on. I also tried to add the animals to the first two more or less done African habitats. The mixed species enclosure feels way too tiny for 3 species, so they will move somewhere else in the future. I like the mix of ostrich, gemsbok and springbok too much to split them up. Now I just have no idea what to put in that enclosure, might have to wait to something nice for it hopefully shows up in a DLC one day.
I think I will go work on some signs for the area now, I am really looking forward to that feature!

On the left you can see some of the still expanding staff area, which can be partly seen by guests from the elevated path.
