Now, this does disappoint me:
Why? Because it removes part of the "reality" of ED .......
Let me explain.
In reality, if you were in the cockpit of my Sidewinder, you would not be able to see the representation for the location of ORNA.

Particularly if you were inside the hanger. However, it would be the same even out in space.
It's only because ED is a computer simulation, that they are able to show it.
I've tried to tell myself the image is transmitted electronically, projecting it on to my helmet's clear, perspex facemask which would make seeing the image feasible.
However, if you look closely at my picture, you'll see the image is portrayed
outside the Sidewinder's cockpit.
I understand, it is essential for the image to be shown, otherwise navigating through space
visually would be impossible.
You wouldn't know where any body was: planet, star, station, whatever.
But what a pity they didn't show the image as if it was projected onto your facemask.
To help me with my fictional wish for ED reality, is there any other way I can see how the image is portrayed ?
Thanks.
