So sad that we are obviously in the final dying gasps of the game and so many promises remain just vapourware, if only the game could survive for a couple more weeks the developers could have included every single one of those promises into the game, alas, with Tencent being the prime contender here, it is blatantly obvious that this poor, beaten, dead horse will be finally put to rest.

I'm not so sure. I'd think a buyout from MS and Sony, like in the article I posted, would bring a reinvigoration to the game. The article seemed positive about it.

But think what they could do - they have vr interests, and they will definitely bring the game to consoles, which is so overdue it has become ridiculous.

They could be open to all sorts of things too that we have complained about for so long - things like going back to the ADS, making it possible to buy engineered modules, and other things like sorting out all the travel restrictions on fleet carriers.

Hell man, you have to really open your mind here - I find it disturbing how many members are such pessimists. This buyout is a huge opportunity - they could reach around these problems and put a console release out in two weeks, looking at their track record.

Think of the potential sales - we're talking tens of millions of consolers that have been betrayed, and repeatedly blown off by FD.

Let's stop this flaccid behaviour now, and support the Sony MS buyout, for everyone's sake.

Can't argue with that! (I tried, hence the delayed response) Now I have a headache, thanks.
It could have been worse...
I omitted the shortbread from my multi-diemensional calculus array as determining the butter content, and its logical point of origin, added an almost infinite number of nested valiables, invalidating the wafers deliquescence.

And, of course, determining if the aforementioned shortbread was inserted into the open or sealed part of the complex mathematical model made a parody of the initial determination..

I don't like shortbread..
Be grateful for small mercies! ;)

But legs on planets and stations was "promised" and part of the dream. Not making a FPS would seem like missing a low hanging fruit. Imagine the forum rage, if we could step onto a planet together without being able to murder or shoot anything! :D
True, but they put a grindwall between me and my murdering.

Fdev does not value my very limited murder time!

Odyssey coming on console would give the Elite the additional breadth needed to fill the hole that exists in my gaming experience if it is to be a true space simulation. I do agree that they would need to have a release soon, however they do need to make sure they're not premature as we've already seen what happened on PC with the game coming too early.

I wholeheartedly agree with your comment with the need to reach around and get a firm grip of the issue as I don't think many will be happy with the current edging towards completion that we're having at the moment.

Go on...
