@Pyroboros @Adel
Ejagham is an interesting system. Bodyids 35 & 36 crashed the system but I knew I hadnt found the two stations so kept at it. Later went back & tried bookmarking those two, but as soon as I did that I got Black Adder errors each time. No Omphalos or TDW hidden station, unless it's at 35 or 36!
Cant see a way to find them!!
(N.B. Ejagham 4 has 8 moons!! And travel in a straight(ish) line from Sol (Jewel/Mother Gaia) via Sirius (Witchspace whisperer) you get eventually to Ejagham (tourist beacon mentions lovers, binary ice moons resemble original start menu screen with station)).

Each time I drop into a comet I honk three times - but Raxxla is hitting the pipes!

Oo, interesting!
Perhaps I havent got the method right yet?
Paste signal reference into galmap search, then if game doesnt crash select it & drop in, or if it does crash the game then redo but bookmark it? Which should allow it to be selected from the bookmarks list & dropped onto?
As soon as I bookmarked those two I got the Black Adder error message.

Also interesting 36 locked onto an npc!!

Edit: Yep, just rechecked your video re bodies 68-70. The only thing I can see that I’m doing different is that you were using Odyssey and I’m using Horizons & getting an error on bookmarking the signal.

FDev themselves told us there is no secret in the federation Station numbers - just eye candy to make them seem more impersonal. They are not even unique - some stations share numbers, because of the way they are calculated from the system ID.
he meant a numbers-broadcasting (radio)station

As (possibly) an interesting aside:
Siren was the final boss of Pharos Sirius in Final Fantasy XIV (2010)!
thats because FFXIV draws from the same mythology as elite, greek...
Pharos has something to do with the lighthouse in Alexandria, theres a lot to this and i can go on, but theres more to be figured out first, lets just say it goes back to the return of the thargoids, Dolphins

Just a thought on a plot twist... I think most ideas on the roar are about a Queen Thargoid (or just a new bigger one!)...

As the sound hadn't been heard before and we've been messing with Guardian tech and mixing it with Thargoid tech, it might be an interesting plot twist that the Guardians didn't die out and we've basically alerted them with the proteus wave...or something like that ;-)

All pure speculation and highly unlikely.... but it was "just a thought" which I often post here....

Yes we got that, thanks - in fact its where we started:

That is already being whispered a little. I’m trying to find out if anyone has taken a T relic to a guardian side and tried to use it as normal. I’ve been wondering if any kind of reaction occurs from the other species. And I’m still trying to find anything in the Lore that would have given rise to the guardians came from Raxxla theory. So far I can’t figure out who made that leap. So it could be absolute bull for all I know. If you guys like I can update you if I find something out.

Have you tried this system?

"Myth", "comet", missing pilot, Federal Task force, head of the Bounty Hunters Guild....

Bit much for a myth?

Edit: more searching, looks like it's been explained...

This thread is dedicated to the non-role-play Quest for Raxxla. Of course everything might be related, but we start out by keeping things simple (Occam’s Razor) and assuming they aren’t until proven otherwise. If you’re interested in Guardians & Thargoids there are more appropriate threads, e.g.
🙂

That galnet item is a reference to one of the elite dangerous fiction stories “The comets trail” by Daren Gray in the Tales from the Frontier. I think FD put references in-game for all the books.

Ahh the comet, a great example of overthinking a problem.

I used that story to test a theory, to assess if Galnet stories had any relevance; ended up reading too much into the text and choosing the wrong system and grinded the permit for Alioth instead.

Turned out the mystery was in the other system and was very easy to resolve.

Still a nice little player story; but at least I got the Alioth permit and had fun killing lots of pirates, probably more fun than the actual mystery.

Gotta be me, there was a discount on tinfoil hat lately and.. well.
Beyond that, I was thinking myself about using a Trinket while searching Raxxla.
These things are used in The Dark Wheel missions. Possibly the Trinket would emit some sort of indication when approaching Raxxla or the Omphalos (activate it in some way?)
That would explain why one need "eyes to see". Without Good Fortune, you're blind, and could fly past Raxxla without knowing it.
Omphalos is real world reference to the Temple of Apollo which hosted one. It was considered the center of the world (as known back then).
In game, which world center would we be talking about? Most probably not Human Space, eh?

Is pulsar PSR J2222−0137 in-game?
Cant find it on EDSM

edit: ah, no. Yelboc pointed out it has no distance in Simbad so wont have been input into game!

So canidate for TDW station...

Decima - Gustypants Outback Emporium

This one is NOT it but it fits the bill, large wheel style station, compact and older orbis - plus when the sun isn't hitting it, it's really dark.

Now if I could only narrow down systems with this version of an orbis station..... ok found it.

I'll be checking it out in the morning.

--edit--
The hub looks good and is controlled by the minor faction 'The Dark Wheel' but seems lacking in real evidence of what it would be.
