Winter DLC Speculation

Now we really only can have ideas of which dlc can be, because well, everithing was pointing out for a nocturnal or other dlcs and we get a "Twilight Pack". Noneone expected that, and less a bat. So now we can´t even have something aproximated for what Frontier is preparing for us
The Twilight pack is just the roadkill version of a nocturnal pack.

Apparently there is hint at the end of Castle Myers scenario about himalayas.
Intriguing. Oh well I hop on the mountain pack hype train.

I wouldbe honest I don't think it would be mountains animal pack. I could see another very wanted animal will add to the game with the next dlc maybe even more then one? I hope! birds in my opinion still don't coming in the next dlc. I also really wonder what will be the number of the animals like now with the new walkthough exhibit so I wonder now we going to get more animals in this walkthough exhibit then the regular exhibit? or we going to get both? that's really question...?

maybe the next dlc would be Midnights Animal Pack I would love this dlc only by the name haha. but now really I know frontier would do something unexpected because now I don't really speculate cause I'm think frontier would make something more unique then like forest or woodlands or mountains.. also mountains don't really will help to out more of the most requesting animals for the game so idk if It's likely and if we really will get dlc like that I'm think dlcs until the end of 2023 kind of confirm although frontier will make nocturnal animal pack then maybe until the summer.

still I'm really hopeful for tassie and ACP in the next dlc! so idk guys we like all the last dlc we are in nowhere. the only thing that I assume it would be animal pack (because let's be real how much christmas dlc we will get lol I'm think that's one of the reason why they change the time that is not scenery=animal pack=scenery=animal pack.because we got two dlcs that focus on christmas stuff so yea) also this upcoming days we should hear about tease for the anniversary if we have something in the store for us so very exciting! also if too be honest I'm much prefer to get fixes for animals like the lion and the malayan tapir and also to do some resize for like the two tortoises then to get onew new species cause when the would change then they would look like a fully new species haha so let's hope for something!

I like every pack from Planet Zoo (except twilight), and for me there are 2 things that can´t have the next dlc: A scenery pack and cold-climate animals. We already haved 2 scenery packs in a row, and the last was horrible, so if the next pack is an animal pack would be perfect: More animals are always better than more scenery. And please, now we recieved 3 animals from cold climates, and i know is winter, but they really should add more unical animals from other parts of the world that aren´t cold-temperate forests or praires, such tropics, deserts, etc. Wolverines, muskoxes, etc, are cool and they fit with the season, but i´m not a fan of them. Let´s hope to at least see an animal pack and not an scenery pack

Is there a real hint on the castle myers for the next dlc? If there is, someone knows which is and how can i see it?
for now it's a trust me bro situation. The person who said such provided no screenshot evidence. I'm working through the entire thing right now to see if the claim is real or fake. Either way even if their is mention of the Himalayas, I doubt it's a hint.

Oh really? I haven't actually done the scenario yet. I thought it was just people hopping onto a seasonally appropriate bandwagon. The idea has honestly grown on me a ton, though, so I'd be happy with it. Especially if tree kangaroos and Hamadryas baboons pass Frontier's mountain threshold.

Also, as someone who personally has no use for the vast majority of European species, I do think I'd bring myself to use the Alpine marmot, and I really like the way chamois look so I wouldn't say no to it either. Mountains can be a really great worldwide pack depending on what they go with.

I just finished the new scenerio and I think that it foreshadows the next pack in the same way the last career scenario of the base game foreshadowed the arctic pack.

Without giving too many spoilers, I am now convinced that our next pack will be a mountain pack and that the scenerio zoo will be set in the Himalayas (or a reproduction there of) and run by a character introduced in the Mount Meyers scenario.
Just for source clarification.

Depends on the context, really. Recall that at the end of the original base game scenarios, Bernie explicitly said he was heading to the arctic, and we all know what that was leading towards.

Either way, guess I know what I'm doing tonight now.

I interpreted it as a "this character will come back" hint and they are associated with a Himalayan animal, so maybe a hint? I'm curious what other people think when they've completed the scenario.

That's what I have been calling the pack in my head since Frontier announced their bizarre and disappointing roster. Glad to see someone else agrees ;-)
I've actually been going back and forth between calling it that and the "Rabies Vectors of NA pack (+Wombat?)" with Egyptian fruit bat as a stand-in for a NA bat species, since the fruit bat is so much more common in captivity.

Oh I agree, despite my bias for the rock-wallaby, if we only get one wallaby species I do hope it is Bennett's - it's the better option from a usability standpoint. I just think that people shouldn't get too worried if the rock-wallaby is added first.

As long as we get at least two wallabies (which I prioritise over more kangaroos), I'd also really like eastern grey kangaroos. It'd be nice to have the option to make mixed-species macropod habitats that are range appropriate - red kangaroos with the rock-wallabies (Adelaide Zoo has this mix) and grey kangaroos with the Bennett's.

EDIT: Add a dorcopsis to keep with the tree kangaroos while you're at it. God's imperfect creature
