How about we stay in the bubble and take a step back from the vistas of space, and enjoy some tourism with fine dining and... well... people!
Cmdr Lance 'Spacecat' D. invites you to...
Visit Cardea!
Empire space, you'd think there's a haughty politeness and mild arrogance wherever you visit? Think again, come take a look at Cardea and its fun-loving folks. The system's two stations were setup a little larger than necessary, with tourism amenities in mind:
Let's start at the wildly-named Tygerlily-Merlyn Pleasuredome. Part space station, part theme park. Behind the docking area the station houses the famous 'Coriolis water park', so enjoy the craziest waterslides you've never imagined. Try some low-gravity rock climbing. And a visit to the green ring will treat you to a nine hole golf course (It's far enough from the center to minimize the coriolis effect) and the 'restaurant alley' sports cooking styles from 12 different worlds. Night is when the party really starts, with strobing UV blacklights and the rhythms of Hauser-Fuzz music throughout the main concourse. Just keep in mind smoking is prohibited.
If the pleasuredome is a little too wild for you, or you need to spend a day or two winding down, try Raymo's R & R & R. The station facilities involve a variety of massage and yoga parlors, and a complimentary spa offer for anyone staying over 24 hours. The ancient Feng Shui techniques and pastel coloring used in the main concourse help soothe the eyes and the mind. And don't neglect to try the local cafes and restaurants, or the local wines - this commander recommends the 'Crown de Loupin' local rosy.
