Hi everyone!

We have the passenger gameplay coming as part of the 2.2 release, and there’s one aspect we’d like your input with. One of the reasons for passengers travelling is tourism, so we’re building a database of tourist locations in human space and beyond for the passengers to visit. We know that you’ve visited wonderful places and discovered some great sights, so we’re calling on you to post the place that you’d like to visit if you were a tourist.

To submit your suggestion you should provide the following information in a single post in this thread:

• Location name (this should include system name, body name and lat/long if the location is on the surface).
• A screenshot of the view.
• Your Commander name – this will be used as a location selected by, if it’s used.

The entries selected will be included in game, although we may not use them all for the initial release.

This thread is for submissions only, please do not conduct discussion in this thread to make it easier for us to keep track of submissions.

If there are multiple submissions for the same location then we’ll attribute the Commander who first suggested the location in this thread.

In a few weeks we’ll provide an opportunity for any travel writers to provide descriptive entries for these tourist locations – more information on that soon.

Thanks!

Michael

Hmm.. What about the Voyager probes? I've only checked them out when they were "discovered", but those could be neat. A ~15 -30 minutes hop from sol if I remember correctly.
Sorry can't find the old as heck picture I made more than a year ago.

A lone black hole inside a green nebula. Looks great imo. Distance to Sol unknown/to be added later. (Picture from my friend cause we travelled together and I didn't take any proper shots)

NGC 40 Star, it's a pilgrimage going there, as it is one of the few sites unlocked with 2.0 and FSD Boosts. Getting there isn't easy and you can't scoop NGC 40 Star, so it requires planning ahead unless you want to run out of fuel.

The Sacra Oculus Pilgrimage

Starting at Zamka Platform in George Pantazis, passengers purchase Pantaa Prayer Sticks to take with them on their spiritual journey of Faith. They proceed first of all to LP 375-25 (King Gateway) where they acquire an Honesty Pill to enable the Pilgrims to confess their sins. Onwards then to HIP 29314 where they encounter a Brown Dwarf (location 1) surrounded by metallic rings. This is called the Creator's Eye and is of symbolic reverance to Sacra Oculus as it symbolises the eye of the Creator. Care should be taken both at LP 375-25 (Anarchy system) and in HIP 29314 (multiple resource extraction sites in the rings). Note the straight line pointing to the eye from space, directly through the rings. Religious Doctrine states that if you follow the line out into the heavens, you will eventually encounter representatives of the Creator. This explains why the location is popular as a starting point for long range explorers. After a brief stay at Furuta Dock in HIP 29314 or planet side at Tshang Vision (HIP 29314 1 C) which is a small Colony (an alternative secondary landing location is Prandtl Lab at HIP 29314 1 E), Pilgrims can enjoy planet side excursions in ground vehicles. The Pilgrims then board their vessel to take them on the short journey to Daniel's Folly, Synuefe BT-F D12-54 (planet BC1) where they are welcome to enter the enclave of Sacra Oculus for prayer, meditation and contemplation. Daniel's Folly is the location for the religious Headquarters of a theology called Sacra Oculus where the faithful may pray in the subterranean caverns beneath the planetary outpost and where they may burn their Pantaa Prayer Sticks as an aid to enlightenment and consume their Honesty Pill to confess their sins.

How about a cruise visiting all the starter planets from previous games? It's the first trip I went on when I could get to all the locations.

Locations: Lave Station, Lave. Orbit of Merlyn, Ross 154 (and you could fix Astra too?) [being fancy, Mars could go in here, too]. Hope, Gateway. Azeban Orbital, Eranin.
My CMDR is Übermensch, same as my screen name, but I'd find it awkward being a part of all these historic locations.

P.S. It could even be a part of the tour to grab a Rare from each place, Lave and Eranin obviously having their respective tipples, and the rest could get some too

This is a little known gem is an inhabited ringed ELW discovered in the heart of the human bubble, orbiting a blue ringed gas giant.
