Yep, that's why it's encouraged to pick up occupied escape pods and sell them at the nearest station. What happens is that the station authorities call up the insurance company identified on the pod and pass along the fee that the pod was sold for. The insurance takes care to return the pilot back to the last known recorded station visited and does the rest. Meanwhile the pilot has been put in hibernation by the pod's mechanisms the whole time and wakes up back in his replaced ship with the hefty insurance premium and fees remitted and a headache, lol.

Same on the PC side, no upgrade option and play just tells you the servers are off at the moment so yeah looks like all day.

General Ship Audio Fixes and Improvements

• Audio: Added oomph back to the weapons
• Audio: Fixes for retro drives in external view
• Audio: Fixing triggering of Vessel Voice "Ready To Engage" which wasn't being triggered
• Audio: Fixing waste pod volume issues.

Waste pod volume issues? So... now we'll hear the toilets flush, to remind us we're still stuck in our chairs and have been holding it since Alpha Centauri?

Holy patch wall Batman, that's a lot of content and fixes. And it all finishes at the perfect time; after work and dinner! Knowing that the exploration payout increase is live will definitely make the 10k LY trek from the core to Colonia a bit better.

I don't understand. What's the difference between the various name plates? Is it just the design decal? Hardly seems worth £2 for different designs. I don't mind buying one pack, I just don't understand why you'd want to pay £12 for having 6 different decal designs on the nameplate.

I don't think there's an inherent benefit of one decal over the other. It seems like Frontier is trying to offer a lot of variety in name plates to appeal to as many people as possible, thus increasing overall chance of them buying a plate.

I don't imagine anyone would, or that being the point. For example, would you buy every skin for a ship, or just the one you think looked best?
