Well, there are already activities that scale with cargo bay size - bulk trading and CG's. No limit on cargo there.

Bulk trading does not in any way pay enough, just as standard sized ships don't make much that way. I can make as much per day with mission grinding in my Asp-X as I can with my cutter. Which is ridiculous. If I Bulk trade I make less with the cutter than my Asp-X does with missions unless I waste hours looking for the most profitable loop trade routes. As for CGs. They don't pay worth a damn. I only go on CGs if it means something to me in gameplay terms. Otherwise it just isn't worth the risk of losing my ship to some idiot who thinks that killing other players when they're at their most vulnerable is fun.
Add to that the very real risk of making a mistake which then causes you to lose not only a very valuable cargo worth up to 10mil but your ship which might require a 40mil or more rebuy. Oops! there goes your last weeks work...

Now in version 2.4.03 I checked that your AI got crap I took 2 rebuy in less than 30 minutes, one in the entrance of the station where the npc came with me and sent a danesse to me and locked me in the entrance of the station, the second nothing a security ship to share with me and destroy my ship for nothing without me being wanted or anything ..... unhappy and sad because I go for a little bit because it made me angry !!!!
 
The payouts to Colonia are not a bug, the devs said they do not intend them to be an incentive for you to take a 20k ly trip. They are missions you may take to make a little bit of money from the trip in case you already have plans to go there.

Yes I understand that, but why do we have to have an entire board full of them, all of the time?
That's what I'm saying... the boards are overrun with those 20k missions. :rolleyes:

So I suppose we're not going to address the fact that you can't hear the rail-gun charge up or Shield cells from the Corvette cockpit?

Parece que esse jogo esta ser destinado a criancinhas que não tem nada para fazer bem como velhos aposentados e desocupados. Estão nos tratando como noob.....

It seems that this game is intended for little children who have nothing to do well as old retirees and unemployed. They are treating us like noob .....

Fixed an issue that led to Thargoids flagging up as allied in certain cases

Was begining to think some of the Thargoids had sleeper agents in the midst.

Why are you asking if you read the patch notes? I'm in tall cotton that FD is releasing short quick fixes.

I'm not actually asking. It was a rhetorical question that was intended to communicate the fact that some of us (I can't be the only one) believe this issue to be of a high priority and to express my surprise that a fix wasn't included in this patch. If you couldn't figure that out, perhaps you shouldn't be communicating with people online.

Was your comment necessary or did it serve any purpose at all? No. Not at all and none.
 
I have a Cutter and it's my main ship for just about everything.
I earned it the hard way. Never taking advantage of the exploits even when it was easy to do so.

Because the rewards for flying around in a Cutter are rubbish.

There should be more "Big Ship" missions that can offer rewards commensurate with their size and abilities.

For instance where are the Missions that require 720 tons of X to go to Y for 7-20mil?


I hear what you're saying, but I'd never use my Cutter for anything but trade hauling. 5k-per-unit 2-stop routes are very common, and I can earn between 15-25milCR in an hour. Then she goes back into dock until the next credits infusion is needed.

I wouldn't dream of using her in a military mode; the expense would be astronomical. For combat, she maneuvers too slowly for my style. I also don't like missions limited to a large pad.

The "rewards" for flying a Cutter are 5kCR x 720t = 3.6mil for a loop that can be done in 15 minutes.
 
I didn't read every message here in this thread yet, but I saw a mission bug earlier tonight. Some missions are offering around 600,000 credits to deliver data/etc. 21,000 light years away. For a newbie player to see missions like this seems a little odd, but in addition, none of these sorts of missions that have the 20,000 light year distant stars are offering money that would actually be worth the massively far trip.
I’m just sticking to passenger missions at this stage. I get 760k plus now and again but the frequency has certainly reduced a lot.
 
Really having trouble with them? I find them all over the place. I'd give you some of mine, but unfortunately I can't jettison materials like cargo for you to pick up.

Heyyyy....FDev? There's a feature idea for you! Let us drop materials the same way as cargo!
Great idea. Maybe the option to trade materials with fellow commanders by means of beam transport.

has anybody else noticed a severs drop off in bounty values when interdicted on delivery missions?
since the update the 2 interdictors I have dispatched were both assault ship, an expert and a master.
pre update, easy 100k each, these 2 only 7500 each!

You know...now that you mention it yes! I remember earlier blasting a few pirates trying to int me and I got something shocking like 1000 credits...lowest ive ever seen....ever lol :)

Yeah been getting that tonight too. [up] 6840cr (FDL), 4280cr (FDL), 808cr (Anaconda, oh yay) all master and above, one of the FDLs was elite. Then I got 12K for a master Cobra MkIV that my FGS melted in less than 4 seconds (so what the ****?!?) However, I did get one bounty for 102k. Only one.

Plus, I'm this close to finishing my admiralty too, and the darn game keeps disconnecting. Stuck at 87% Vice Ad. I could have been done in time for PP tonight :( . Nice update :/

So... no Ax Multi cannon nerf?

In another word, the missiles were a balance screw up.

Well, it's better than you seriously think Thargoid adaption = nerf our own weapons, at least I hope.

I don’t think they’d dare pull a stunt like that again. Maybe Thargoids have been buffed.
 
Just now, mission board super lag, not loading and sometimes kicked, fail to connect to adjudication server.

mission expiring in 2 hours brah, please! :D

Yep longer than normal jumps accompanied by server dump back to main menu. A new common feature it seems. I personally find it quite disconcerting waiting for the jump to end.
