As far as I know any online gaming on consoles requires a single subscription to the console's services. That's not a cost specific to Elite, if you game online on a console you'll already be paying it regardless of whether you own and play Elite or not. There's no additional cost to create multiple Elite accounts over and above that cost, which is not directly linked to the game.
As I said though, that's my understanding; I don't own a PS4 so happy to be proved wrong if that's the case.
Also repped for Glayva, haven't had that in years. Naughty stuff that.
Many people on this forum call anything that isn't "Top 1%" a bad ship, as there are a lot of meta-gamers here.I've only ever heard/read bad things about it, so Imma have to take your word on that
It doesn't seem so bad yet, but I've hardly done anything with it.
I don't have access to the CIV on that particular account, otherwise it would have been a strong contender![]()
Heh, cheers! Me either, was in the supermarket on the 23rd, snagging the inevitable last minute/forgotten items, and so it was discounted. Oooohhhh, its been a while, and it is a pleasant drink, whyever not?'. I'm pacing myself, but we're down to 1/2 the bottle already...
You have inspired me to take my FDL to Colonia.
Has anyone stripped an FDL down to the bone, what's the max jump range ?
Thanks for that, might just give this a try on an alt account given the Christmas sale is on.I threw one together on coriolis a few months ago, here short answer is about 30LY, which is pretty much what my pre-engineering Asp had. You're not doing much out on the galactic rim in that but it's fine for anything else.

43LY. You missed the FSD engineering
I've been exploring in an FDL, it's not too bad at it.

I'm not a meta-gamer. I just don't care. Most people who chase the meta will never be "gud" anyway.
Myself I just roll with that fact, rather than feverishly insist "I'm teh bestest."
Result? I have the choice of all the ships, instead of just one or two meta-options, and frankly, it's way more fun.
I play D&D/SP RPGs the same way. Not meta, but an interesting character. Flaws actually make it fun.
Which is why the FDL is so bloody boring. In normal space and guns deployed, it basically has no flaws.
YAWN
Power management on my Eagle is challenging - I have to turn off the FSD in order to use my weapons. This isn't that big a deal since I can't charge FSD while hard points are deployed anyway, but it does add time before I can spool up the FSD if I'm in a hurry. So basically if I'm committed to combat in my Eagle, I'm there till the end. Thankfully my rebuy is cheaper than fixing scratched paint on the infamous FDL.Flaws actually make it fun.
Sounds like X4 would be a better fit for you then than ED.I would fly a fleet carrier!
Or some other mega ship. And actual carrier or battleship would be fun.
