Autumn DLC Speculation

That sounds very promising. We may just hear something tomorrow yet.

As for guesses? There's so many. What I want more than anything is birds of course, and then if not that, a revisit to Oceania with an animal pack..

There's been some very strong lineups suggested for a nocturnal pack and I would like that as well. But that's not saying that's what it will be. A drylands animal pack to balance out the wetlands pack is also a possibility, giving us more desert and grassland animals. An islands pack has also been gaining popularity that has a good lineup.

But for what it will be....any guesses are as good as mine.

What I don't think it will be: Rainforests. Now, it could be "forests" as a whole, but I feel like just Rainforests would be more of a tropical pack, like for spring or summer (of course, so do deserts lol) . I also don't think it will be a temperate/taiga pack as I'm suspecting that may be what we get in December. but of course, that's just my speculating, I could be off and it could be those.

And of course, it could be something that no one or very few people have even guessed the theme to. Just in this post I've brought up 7 pack themes and if you add in things like fully marine animals, Middle East (West Asia and North Africa), Petting Zoos and Mountains/Highlands, you're closing on a dozen different themes right there. I'm happy to be surprised with whatever it may be, because I'm just happy to get new content.
I somehow wouldn't think about anything that goes to summer/hot/etc....more what is connected to this time of year 🤔

Very true. The main reason I put in drylands is only to counterbalance the wetlands pack, but maybe they would just do that next spring/summer. Islands too, I can definitely see that as more of a first half of the year.

That rather depends where you are - for me, there are a lot of eucalypts that would be great - there’s really only 1 tree in the game for south eastern Australia (stringywood).
Very much this - my most wanted tree is the River Red Gum, which is not only an iconic Australian tree but also one of the most widespread and versatile. We’ve got a temperate eucalypt (stringybark) and an arid eucalypt (ghost gum), but red gums give representation for temperate, arid and tropical/monsoonal climates.

EDIT: Forgot the bloodwood is also a eucalypt, so that’s two arid eucalypts. Kinda funny that we have more Corymbia species than Eucalyptus itself
EDIT 2: Forgot Rainbow Eucalyptus too lol

haha just thought that maybe the name of the tracks could hint to something... we have to reach those 200 pages after all :p
Of course, I was joking, I do plan to speculate every word in those names 😎
Not all that I remember but I do the following

Two Flamingoes
Mongolian Steppe
Ganges Delta?
And there was Northern Lights and something, something Elephants

So that's Flamingo, Przewalski Horse (Or Bactrian Camel), Gharial, One of two Elephants and something from Arctic DLC, let's say Polar Bear

On the other side there's two lemur species, orangutan and red panda on the art. All arboreal species.

I'll try to take some time later to skim through the whole stream and catch all the names, see of there's any pattern

Hero Giraffe
Seagrass Beds
Elephant Memories
Northern Lights?
Ok so

Flamingo
Wild Horse
Gharial
Giraffe
Elephant
Some sort of arctic animal

Aand Seagrass beds...?

We don't have aquatic herbivores yet 👀
Could that be a hint? Manatee?

Or Northern Lights go with combination with animal that lives in seagrass environment - Sea Otter perhaps 👀

But I have to be honest, both are reaches. I was positive there would some, if at least the subtlest one, sort of hints. To be truthful tho I don't think there's any.
