The latest patch fixed my problem and I've just played for like 3-4 hours straight with no issues whatsoever!

I had an absolute ball.. enjoyed every second (even when I was blown up. haha!)

Thanks Frontier, hell of a job guys :D

Yep, just been playing for about 6 hours, and not one single CTD.

I played 1.0.3 all evening with no crashes and few problems :D

Although, towards the end of a long, maybe 4 hour play session, my frames per second suffered when in stations where usually I get 60+, dropped to 20ish.

Overall congratulations on a great beta, the speed the devs have fixed bugs and released new patches is impressive, keep up the excellent work everyone \o/

Hi, I was wondering if anybody knew the file size of these updates as I only have limited internet per month. Cheers.

I feel your pain! It's pretty small. I don't know exact size but based on how fast it came down my horrible connection, I'd say it's less than 50 megs :)

So when I try to upgrade, it firsts insists on running an uninstaller. If I let it, it uninstalls the launcher which obviously then cannot upgrade itself (and I had to then redownload the beta from zaonce.net).
If I don't let it run the uninstaller, I get a 'cancelled' dialog box and it then doesn't upgrade.

I seem to be stuck in a bit of a chicken and egg scenario here. Anyone else?

I'm guessing no-one else has this issue but in case someone does, here's how I resolved it. I let the launcher uninstall itself, and then manually removed both the 'Frontier Developments' and 'Frontier_Developments' appdata directories that had been left after the uninstall, then redownloaded from zaonce and reinstalled, and that seems to have fixed it.
(It still crashes when I try to start a game, but it did that before so it's a different issue)

How do you get to find out your frame rate in the game?..

With this version the gameplay is the best i have played so far, good job devs !
the only con is the servers deconnections from time to time.
I had one time a mission tracker server deconnection : all missions but one were lost at that time .
The map is more comprehensive now, and thanks to the devs finally the masses are correctly showed .
Fantastic work !

Strange navigation problem.

Why is it, that I cant travel from my current location A. primus to Ibootis, it's well within fuel capacity (eagle) On the nav. map, there's a grey line not the usual blueish...what gives?? I'm kinda stuck flying between 3 systems because of that..and I have some goods to deliver in Aulin (mission)...i gotta go by Ibootis....any help appriciated.

thx

good work

Hay guys just wanted to say thank you for the good work you have been donning last view the game is renewing my love for pc games keep it up:)

Do we know yet what the problem with multiplayer is?
I see lots of people in supercruise, but in real instances (station, federal distress call in Eranin) I get at most two players in the same instance.

I've also been trying to get a buddy of mine into the same instance (via the friends list), but so far it hasn't worked.

A solid grey line = the systems you can reach in a single jump (including whatever the slider is set to for cargo).

A dotted grey line = within jump range if you do multi-hops from one system to another.

The same as above for blue - but this indicates the routes available if you have maximum cargo (so if you set the cargo slider to max the routes should intersect).

There is an issue where some systems don't appear in your navigation panel even though you can jump to them. In this case, just select the system in the galaxy map and then jump to it as normal.

It's another great update and really impressed with how this game is coming along... I only wish two things could get fixed, both around the 'Jump' exits...

1. The exit needs to be faster. I can seriously get up, make a coffee and come back. It kinda kills the momentum of play...

2. Being dropped against or inside the space station is a little annoying. Going from a Lakon 6 back to stock load out within a day became somewhat frustrating.

stability in single player:
Very good since the last update.
I played hours and had no problems or hangings!

stability in multi player:
A crash still may happen but this happens far less then some days ago.

Keep up the great work!

Have to say the pace of updates is impressive and the game has been pretty stable for me since 1.01 and even better with the subsequent patches, just the odd crash and a few bugs which is to be expected. It's practically a finished game as it is now!

The only issue that grates is the time it takes to drop out of SC, it's very immersion breaking, hopefully FD can get that sorted.
