I think my guy has been through too many UNITYs.

As usual, with Beth games, it will show its full potential when the modding tools are outMy thoughts regarding SF at this point; Zero G boarding actions are incredible. However the plot is complete facepalm and without it it feels like Fallout 76, wandering around with nothing obvious to do or which I've already done several times.
Ship Boarding (I mostly did it from planets - which is also great) makes a case for ship interiors. The main story ... isn't great
I don't think 'multiverse' as a plot twist works in games. Any game with multiple paths is inherently a multiverse - I played Fallout 4 multiple times siding with different factions - so it was essentially a multiverse, but didn't rely on that.
Having a game supposedly all about space & Constellation - the 'last group of explorers' where the plot resolution was nothing to do with space or exploration was a bad decision. Probably didn't help that I never even used the special powers - never needed them - so felt no reason to go collect more - which was supposed to be what was driving the Starborn.
It was also telling that when you used Persuasion on the Starborn they suddenly agreed that it was boring going around in circles just collecting more powers and just decided to quit.
Refining my ship with some mods. I've found my first major issue with the game. The ship builder doesn't save my color settings so every time I go back to upgrade my ship I had to play around with the colors to get the new parts to match.
I meant the color presets in the ship builder. I made my own yellowish gray that the game doesn't save as a preset.
The fun with boarding actions comes from being in a 3D maze of corridors with a dozen crew coming at from up to 6 directions.Ship Boarding (I mostly did it from planets - which is also great) makes a case for ship interiors. The main story ... isn't great

Not sure why you think NPC ships would only have a pilot. The fun with boarding actions comes from being in a 3D maze of corridors with a dozen crew coming at from up to 6 directions.
That might work on a megaship, but not really on a ship with 1 Cmdr who you could sneak up on and shoot in the back of the head.
mod building isn't all it crack up to be, will they Support the mod with a site that guarantee's integrity's doubt it.not all mod builders are the friendly person on another computer you think they are. There is no reason to have seamless space when we fly from instance to instance, yet you can go from Mars to Earth by speeding up the game. There is a couple hints of change. Maybe they didn't get the initial plan to work, maybe their min spec build was too ambitious, gameplay wasn't enough fun / was a bother.
...And this is why I use a boost pack to change decks.Edit: The funniest one I had in SF was when the crew seemed to mostly have grenades to protect themselves, so all I could hear were explosions coming from the floor above for a few minutes as they failed to get one through the hatch. Sadly I was laughing too hard and they managed to shoot me as I went up a ladder![]()

You don't download mods from some shady file sharing/hacker site. It's not the 1990s anymore. NexusMods and the Steam Workshop are the place to go for Bethesda Games
Its a tattoo that is the colour blue, hes bald, darkskined and has blue tint dirt on his face. How did you get that cyber stuff on your character's face? The Starborn space suit is a lot better.
The whole space part of the game is very very weak, need a lot of modding.I have not seen anyone here complaining about the star map in Starfield, so I'll do that now. The star map is unpractical and poorly implemented because:
So the galaxy map in ED is vastly superior to Starfield's star map.
- It shows only very few star system names. Not even nearly all of those that I have visited, and none of those that I have not visited, have a name label.
- It does not zoom out to show the whole map.
- It rotates only very little.
- It does not have a search function. This combined with the lack of name labels for most systems makes it practically impossible to find a system based on a name.
