Planet Coaster 1 has pigeons, guys. This is not a hint, it's just a redo from the previous Planco. The pigeons are ambient birds.
That's how I felt with jwe2, it's an decent upgrade but worth the price they are asking for? ... I have no shame for refunding it even buying at 75 percent off in a sale. The biggest issue with these kinds of games is how the dlc model is approached to existing players, if I need to pay £45 again for a new game, and other £150+ in dlc, the upgrade seems worthless in the short term.
I'm ususally pro sequel, but I agree that with JWE2 they - for me - also feel kind of flat. I know JWE players who would disagree though and I have to say, at least from dino behaviour JWE2 seems to be a bigger upgrade thatn PC2 at first sight, if we let aside that most of the "new" management features are "just" PZ features.
I have to say though, as much as I dislike the downfall from the Sims franchise, it's save to say that every sequel brought some huge unique new gameplay features to the franchise, even if it's debateable if those features were a good idea or balanced or whatever. It always felt worth a new number behind the "Sims".
I expected those BIG things in PC2 and maybe it's just because I'm no theme park enthusiast, that I don't see water park be THAT feature instead of a larger DLC.
I mean, truth be told, there will litterally be a lot of "water running down the river" as we germans say, until we even get remotely close to a Planet Zoo 2, so who knows what leaps the Planet franchise will take in the next 4 years or so. I'm just less hyped about a PZ sequel than I was before and I was always one of the players who advocated for sequels.
On a side note: If the tool building with walls and such is easier in PC2, which I assume it is, I envy that a bit, ngl. Building plain, tiled pools in PZ is a nightmare.
