Probably yeah, anything to help offset the rubbish launch of PC2So we can indefinitely say that Frontier is no longer trying to continue love for this game. They just want more dollars?

I agree, I think the swan base will get them partway there, which is why I'm not writing it off outright. I just think that the head and beak might be a dealbreaker when there are other birds that they could do with less effort, that would probably elicit a similarly positive reaction from fans.Last time at the zoo I spent a good amount of time watching the pelicans, and I have to say: generally, they're not too dissimilar from swans. The walk cycle is nearly identical, the way they swim is very similar, the biggest changes are (of course) the head and beak. Everything else is pretty much a swan, so it shouldn't be too hard to implement into the game.
The reason why I think a pelican isn't completely off the table is that so far, Frontier has only ever chosen the "big" birds, the ones that everyone knows and that have massive appeal even among casual players... We didn't just get any random waterfowl: we got the mute swan. We got one of the most recognisable birds out there, something on par with the peacock or flamingo. Speaking of flamingos: the Americas are home to four species- yet, we got the most well-known and popular one. Also, wetlands could have included any crane, such as the Sarus Crane (which would have been a great fit together with the Wild Water Buffalo and Asian Otter, included in the same pack), but no; we got the crane, the one everyone thinks about when they hear the word "crane".I agree, I think the swan base will get them partway there, which is why I'm not writing it off outright. There is no way we are already getting this level of hate before the pack has been revealed yetHonestly, I'm pretty sure we're getting no birds.
It's gonna be filled with the most frustrating clone picks ever.
This is genuinely the first pack worth skipping in my opinion
Frankly, the key art from between Barnyard and India has only served to gradually lessen my hype for each subsequent pack. At most, maybe 2 species of the 7 interest me in the Zookeeper and Americas packs. Coupled with the implied Sri Lankan elephant, hopes aren't very high for meThere is no way we are already getting this level of hate before the pack has been revealed yet
I'm pretty sure you said pretty much the same about Zookeepers. This is genuinely the first pack worth skipping in my opinion
The two clear animals so far are a honey badger and a lion tailed macaque. If you consider those 2 as clones, then basically any animal that could be added at this point is going to be a clone of something.Honestly, I'm pretty sure we're getting no birds.

Reasons why the hate is justified:I'm pretty sure you said pretty much the same about Zookeepers.
@Stygi is right, maybe this one time we as a community could wait with shooting down a pack completely based simply on the key-art and a bunch of hunches and guesses?
I don't think they're clones, but they're not necessarily animals I wanted. The honey badger is another wolverine situation, it's pretty cool to have and I quite enjoyed seeing them in real life, but I'll never use them. The two clear animals so far are a honey badger and a lion tailed macaque. Reasons why the hate is justified:
1. Elephant
2. Any other clones they are adding
3. The chance of getting a fourth rhino are higher than zero.
Out of curiosity, what would your ideal India Animal Pack roster look like?I don't think they're clones, but they're not necessarily animals I wanted. The honey badger is another wolverine situation, it's pretty cool to have and I quite enjoyed seeing them in real life, but I'll never use them.
The macaque is another monkey which is good for diversity but frankly not all that useful to me.
The elephant is pointless.
Everything else is gonna be bad
It wouldn't be an India pack, enough said.Out of curiosity, what would your ideal India Animal Pack roster look like?
Mine would've been thus:Out of curiosity, what would your ideal India Animal Pack roster look like?
Sarus Crane is a good shout. It's very easy to be made from Japanese Crane model. The thing I like about them, even tho they're not the most exciting bird pick, is their range, they could be sneaky Australian animal in Indian rosterIt wouldn't be an India pack, enough said.
India only has one animal that I personally need (Blackbuck), and we're probably not going to get it considering how it went with the coati in Americas.
...But if I had to choose a roster, it would be something like:
• Blackbuck
• Sarus Crane
• Hanuman Langur
• Gaur
• Fishing Cat
• Axis
• Indian Star Tortoise? Idk I've ran out of ideas after the Langur.
Omg yesssss hog deer would be so coolJust need the hog deer now…
Yes and Pelican - I need it (please frontier)Do you guys think we will get a bird and if so which is your favourite pick?
