Still cannot get into game, launcher crashes at black starter screen - I have been away for 3 hours and just wondered if the issue was resolved or close to being resolved, appreciate any update from you guys.

That said the tutorial seems to be working?

Indeed, see above.

Regarding being called upon to deal with RL issues - that's all part of the game and you are not alone in having to address RL issues when you are gaming. Regarding stopping mission timers - if you were in combat at the time then you would not be able to log out (quickly) and would likely lose your ship. If you were docking or undocking then logging off inside the station would probably gain a fine for trespassing when you logged back in.

Looks like the decision to make it like this was made with out a thought of what the players actually wanted, like a lot of decisions it looks good on paper but the implications of it frustrates players instead of helping them have fun.

Dear Developers,

can you please do the server maintenance during the daytime .... why does it always have to be in the evening when everybody gets home from work and wants to have a go at the game.... ?!

Frontier is based in the UK so their maintenance times will be going off of that. There's nothing they can do about people living in different time zones.

Still can't take any missions in Magec.
Haven't played since this issue as it seems to be a waste of time as a trader to fly around unable to take missions.Since the stations in my area all have poor stock levels and hence nothing to purchase commodities wise.
I guess in the end I will be starting out on the 16th.Since these bugs keep me out of the game.

Yeah loaded up fine but sadly this is the first time I've got this as well. It might be, as has been the case previously, that with a new upgrade the servers go funny for an hour or so, and then everything seems to settle down. Hope that is all, been working fine for me up till now otherwise.

I didn't have this issue in 2.0 but now with 2.01 I get the same.

Kinda sucks not being able to take missions....

Yeah...I'm waiting a but to ticket it. Maybe that the servers are still waking up...
