Thanks for the reply, and sorry about posting in the wrong spot. That didnt seem to help, still says unconnected. I opened the 19364 port on my router just to see, still says unconnected.

Server: xx.xxx.xxx.xxx:19364 [unconnected]

I'm having following text on top left corner when I enter to multiplayer... Server:54.74.78.11:19364 [unconnected] ?! Any idea why's that? I've Norton 360 Premier and I've allowed ED . Also turned off smart firewall, but no luck.

Just chiming in to say I've had the exact same problem, and tried the same, to no avail. I know it's early days but any help would be appreciated. :)

Made port forward rule to router for port 19364 (UDP) and rule to allow same port in my Norton 360 ... no change to the situation

I'm using Avast. Have turned both it and Windows Firewall completely off at this point and still getting the same message and still unable to connect.

I turned of also Norton 360 Smart firewall (Norton disables windows firewall) and intrusion detection, no luck.

I can play Elite Multiplayer, but this is a bit... strange

I have the same problem, already opened a ticket. But it looks like I have a big issue.

Is it possible that ED have some problems or cannot run with DS-Lite?

I only have native IPv6 and IPv4 only via DS-Lite.

It tooks up to 10 or 15 attempt to establish a connection to multiplayer, and also when I'm in the stations do not respond docking requests which looks also like I lost the connection very fast.

Is there anything known how Elite works with DS-Lite?

Try giving your PC a static IP and into the DMZ of your router, and make sure you don't have a further upstream router.

As a test perhaps. Not a safe thing for most people to leave it that way. If your machine is in the DMZ its open to all other ports as well. I have the same issud so will have a play with this as well.

I'm also having trouble connecting. I can't get past the spinning sidewinder. No error messages or timeouts.
/edit - I'm in. Probably just busy. :)

Yeah I have same problems ... It either connects and then my multiplayer button stays red and I have to restart both client and launcher. Or it get stuck on spining sidewinder/cobra with nothing happening.

Yes - sounds similar or the same as I am getting. The server IP in the top left has only once shown as unconnected. The rest of the time it is OK but with multiplayer red?
