Hi Ben, why not just install it and see for yourself, if you don't like it it removes itself very well and easily!

I wholeheartedly recommend this add on as probably the BEST 3rd party app there is bar none, doubly especially if you are engineering!

I tried to design EDEngineer such that its initial use is as intuitive as possible, with the user progressively discovering additional features (material filtering, shopping list, thresholds ...) as he uses the app ; it shouldn't be too hard to use it at first. If you want a video of it live in action, I'd suggest a quick search on youtube for example as there are a few people who showed how they use it over there

EdEngineer is juste an amazing and usefull tool ! Congratulations.

Nonetheless, it would be very userfull to add the possibility to extract data to an xls file...

I can download the setup program OK, but when I run it, I get the same problem and it will not download, so it fails to install.

Same issue has re-surfaced this morning. It won't run the update.

I have this running well for several months, but I just started getting the same popup today.

Not sure what the issue is as I haven't changed anything today. It loaded fine this morning, but now I'm getting the same problem and it won't load.

EDIT: It just re-loaded. I think it must have hung trying to do the update check. Working fine as always now.

Yeah that should be a one time thing as I've updated the certificate I used to sign the app with (expired last november ; new one expires in more than a century)

well the identity of the cert didn't change, it's still me ; so it shouldn't cause any issue (I did not have any myself when I updated)
but some people have more restricting security policies and it can break things ; I admit I haven't dug a lot but I suspect third party antiviruses, proxies, ...

Thank you - all seems normal now, but I don't know if I ever got the recent update.

Program loads normally, but it hasn't asked me if I want to update since the error stopped.

Settings shows I have v1.0.8.8

latest version is 1.0.8.9
if you cancelled the update, it will come back in ~1 week (unless you uninstall and reinstall manually yourself before)
