no worries, being who i am i have grown a thick skin to most of the stuff that gets said in my direction. but i do appreciate dark humor as long as no one cross the line, if they do i have claws lol

If I read it correctly, on a PS4, should one play in "Open" they need a PSN+ account ($60.00 U.S.). Should one not have such account, they can only play in "Solo". Supposing the later is true; Except for patchs and such, does or will one still need an internet connection.

I ask because though one can play NMS or Hit Man for example, while connected, it's not mandatory. Considering the electric grid and or the local dial up connections "SUCKS" (unreliable) here in Mazatlan, Mexico. I prefer because of the constant lapses to either, off line.

yes you need to be online to play ED

Yep that's it you need to be able to connect the the background severs that hold all the info. Not much detail there I know, but you have to be online whatever mode you are in, that's for sure. It's the whole galaxy, that would be one big download...

Considering NMS has downloaded the entire universe on my PS4, though I haven't found it amoung the 18 quadrillion options, the Milky Way should allready be present, recon. LOL

Which is probably why there is no offline mode. That and how would the BGS get updated etc.

You need to be online to play in instances with your buds too.
