We need the ability to cancel constructions before they're completed, I accidentally chose the wrong building and now 1 of my 8 precious surface spots has the wrong building. Nothing has been delivered yet so I should just be able to cancel it
I just lost my status as system architect. It is a bit annoying since I already build 2 space outposts + to ground installations. Is there any way to gain it back?
A rival player or group would lie in wait and monitor the progress of the penultimate primary station. As the architect player / player group cannot be expected to play 24/7, there would be a moment when they log off, but the primary is close to being finished. The rival group would then deliver the remaining commodities, finish the primary, and apparently be able to immediately gain access to a colonisation contact and issue a claim for the target (final) system in the tendril.
the BGS has revolted and kicked all the architects outI just lost my status as a system architect too, the yellow crane is gone. The colonisation ship is still there, as is the beacon, but both are not blue anymore. Was 40% through building a Coriolis station with 25k tons of goods delivered, including 10k tons of CMM. 2 hours ago, everything was fine, and I claimed the system and set up the beacon 4 days ago, so the 24hrs timeout is not the culprit. Time left was more than 3 weeks plus some days.

Insulating membrane up for grabs...btw we need more Insulating Membrane fdev. The galactic supply has vanished..
When the final commodities are delivered to a facility a congratulations pops up with a confirmation button. The architect should have control over when their station enters a finished state - for example by pressing a button on the UI. Or at the very least, contact availability should not occur before the weekly tick so that all players get the same chance at claiming (i.e. the architect does not end up with a worse chance).
A small grace period where only the architect can make a claim from their new system may be something to consider here.A rival player or group would lie in wait and monitor the progress of the penultimate primary station. Seems to be making the rounds.Lost my System also. I wanted to test a smaller station because the construction time of the larger one would probably exceed my lifetime. Really Frontier. This update is just useless boring grind stuff without much benefit and personal long-term motivation. And since my station and system was apparently stolen from me, I've definitely had enough of this nonsense.
I don't really see where the competition is in this situation. What's the architect supposed to do, stay guard in-game 24/7 to make sure the station doesn't finish when he's offline? That sucks, but it enables some competition for the claim.
Doesn't really help. Anyone organised enough to be stalking system progress like this a long way from the bubble (and happening to have just the right cargo in-hand to finish the job) presumably has access to a pre-stocked Fleet Carrier. Not my own feedback, I'm still busy with the CG. But I've seen this mentioned a couple of times already on Reddit, and we're not even out of the first week of Beta. I think it's worth a mention here.
You need to implement a simple mechanic to prevent sniping.
The people who built my house don't have level 3 access to it either. Or even level 1.What doesn't make sense is I do not have LVL 3 access to a settlement I built, in a system I am the architect of.
Itr doesn't belong to you, everything we build is just as a contractor for the faction we bought the contract from. What doesn't make sense is I do not have LVL 3 access to a settlement I built, in a system I am the architect of.
The no time slot message just means the jump booking system is overloaded by other FC jump orders it has no bearing on whether the destination is allowed or not.Ohh, ok. Granted, I did not try all planets. But most resulted no time slot message.
It's like being an investor/developer of office spaces. You then rent them and gain passive income. Yet you don't get an access for their premises as their operate their own business and the fact that you invested money in property doesn't mean that you can walk around freelyI build a settlement, Ishii's Plantation. I figured my system needed food to grow. Makes sense to me.

How does that make any sense?View attachment 419442
