Do I get that right? No longer will other ships attack you for attacking a wanted target just because they are of the faction or another subfaction of Federation/Alliance/Empire? And what about reputation effects? If in, say, Empire space I attack and/or kill a locally wanted ship that belongs to an Empire subfaction - do I still have to fear losing reputation with that subfaction or the Empire as a whole, or can we finally attack and kill any locally wanted ship without fear for repercussions beyond the wanted criminal fighting back?

When you say 'region'.... do you mean locality within the game or locality geographically speaking (e.g. Cambridgeshire or Anglia or Scotland) or both of those or something else entirely?
 
I would just like to point out that before the Cristmas break I put up a post about fixing the meta game mechanics for the star system politics system. It caused quite a bit of commotion on the forum. FD are only back in work a week and they have already addressed at least some of these issues as promised.

The team often gets quite a hard time on these forums.

That is a pretty good result if you ask me.

Logged on this morning and started a run only to get the server message that it was going down in five minutes. Oh well, I'd rather have the fix, thanks FD!
 
Good to see the aggro fix for bounty hunting (just as I've moved to trading doh).

Disappointed by the lack of new cups for the cupholders though. Need some dice as well for my T6 and a novelty airhorn.
