better yet, how about +10% influence in a system per 10k arx per 1 billion population ?Well... I'd like to build a custom ship on the store [i.e. like a car dealer], choosing the ship kit, paint job etc with full G5 engineering and pay let's say up to 100 bucks for it.
Min price is for G3 max price is for G5:
5-25 bucks for small ships
25-50 bucks for medium ships (including the Clipper)
50-75 bucks for large excluding the following
75-100 bucks for Cutter/Corvette
Why not... from my perspective the time I'm going to spend to obtain the same is worth much more than those few bucks.
They could even do a bigger leap... buy exploraconda for 75 bucks and double income/XP from exploration, buy PvE Corvette and double income in bounties/bonds... etc
Or adding "buckets of wonders" -> materials in exchange of ARX [take my money for RAW lol]
Isn't the same many game developers are already doing? (Wargaming?)
Why not selling the system in its entitetybetter yet, how about +10% influence in a system per 10k arx per 1 billion population ?
I want FDev to make good games. It is in our best interest if they make good games. Yeah that's sometimes tied to money, but don't lose sight of what's important. Just giving FDev money for 10 year old content with a price hike doesn't motivate them to do better really. My guess the people screaming "pay to win" don't even play anymore. I want Fdev to make money. It's in our best interest if they make money. Nothing they have done so far is pay to win. It's more pay to lose than anything because the ship builds so far are terrible.

Yes, they should sell upgrade kits for the prebuilts for each grade so they can pentuple-dip.But i trust them not to go there and sell fully engineered boats

I think people haven't even realized the biggest exploit yet. With a prebuilt ship, you won't have to pay for fuel anymore - simply sell your ship and deploy a new one.Yes, but that meant you were loosing your engineered modules. Which isn't the case for arx ships.
And this is the exploit.
Hence I said it's very important for fdev not to include heavily engineered ships in the store.
The other way around, why should I pay for G3 when can have G5 for little more? >>> tons of G5 ships sold >>> win/win!If min price for G3 is 75$ then the price for G5 should be like 750$ and I'm being really generous with the ratio between materials used for G3 and G5 engineerings
The actual exploit would be with using premium ammo and self-destructing your ship whenever you need to rearm (you would have to engineer your prebuilt bits for that to get the most out of it). Premium ammo resets to default when you rearm but respawning doesn't count as rearming even though it fills your ammo back up.I think people haven't even realized the biggest exploit yet. Why?Pre-built Ships are a very, very, very, very, very, and I mean very, very, very, very, VERY, bad idea.
Specs you can find by going into the in-game shop interfacewhere can i find the specs on the pre built ships? What equipment? What range? etc...
The Chieftain has a beam laser which is useful only for the Thermal Vent experimental, which it doesn't come with. I think that should be in the prebuilt.
No , this might actually be Pay to Win.....Well... I'd like to build a custom ship on the store [i.e. like a car dealer], choosing the ship kit, paint job etc with full G5 engineering and pay let's say up to 100 bucks for it.
