I’m sorry I haven’t updated the meta list I created for aviary animals. I just don’t have the energy for it
Regardless this is my opinion on the birds
many amazing parrots to pick
1. Kea
2. Scarlets macaw
3. African Grey
So raptors are my specialty from previous work experience and working on being a falconer. Here are raptors I believe deserve to be first in line.
1. Bald eagle
2. Andean condor
3. Snowy owl
4. Caracara
5. Polynesian hawk aka ‘io’
After that go crazy with more raptors
Water birds
1. Mute Swan
2. Australian Pelican
3. Muscovy ducks

Flightless
1. Rhea
2. Emu
3. Caprachallie
4. roadrunner

When it comes to birds that won’t fly away
1. Sandhill cranes
2. Shoebill stork
3. Scarlet Ibis
4. Rosette spoonbill
I support Passerines but I can’t make my mind up
I say once we finally get aviary then let’s add bats
other birds
1. Kookaburra
2. Toucan
3.rhino hornbill

It's all good 👍 I think it's just cool that people care about aviary dlc/meta-wishlists so passionately.

Really cool to see. Also it's really nice to see all the support for European dlc's ever since North America was announced last week👍

20. Great blue turaco

I definitely think small arboreal animals like Sugar Gliders, Golden Lion Tamarins, Pygmy Marmosets could be used in some kind of "aviary"

That's a great idea

I have an idea for a game, pick 1-5 animals from each group and make your own Aviary/Bird DLC.

Rules are as follows:

- 20 animals for your DLC in total

- Minimum of one animal choice from each group (ie: can't skip bats, need to choose at least one)

- Maximum five animal choices for any group (if you want more than FIVE use the "other" category)

Groups:

- Parrots (self explanatory; pick 1-5 birds)

- Birds of Prey (eagles, condors, hawks, vultures, owls etc: pick 1-5 birds)

- Water Birds (ducks, swans, geese, pelicans, loons etc; pick 1-5 birds)

- Flightless Birds (ratites, tinamous, penguins etc; pick 1-5 birds)

- Terrestrial Birds (birds that stay predominantly on the ground...think birds that can use flamingo or peacock base models some examples: herons, storks, cranes, secretary birds, spoonbills, and game birds such as pheasants, partridges, quails etc; pick 1-5 birds)

- Passerines (any birds from the Order "Passerines" also known as the song birds; pick 1-5 birds)

- Bats (self explanatory; pick 1-5 bats)

- Other Category (any birds or bats you want and feel are still missing from your pack, and they can be from any of the previous groups or some other group I left out)

Free Update
  • Modular covered habitats, can be used by both regular habitat animals and aviary animals.
  • New arboreal-focused enrichment items.
  • "Nest Box" item which acts as hard shelter for arboreal species (such as capuchins, lemurs, red pandas, binturong).

Flying Animal Pack
  • Blue-and-yellow macaw.
  • Sulphur-crested cockatoo.
  • Eurasian eagle owl.
  • Bearded vulture.
  • Golden eagle.
  • Northern bald ibis.
  • Great Indian hornbill.
  • Malayan flying fox.

Also comes with a few additional enrichment items that are more 'bird specific'.

Afterwards, future packs would include flying species where appropriate.
