Guardian fsd booster

Fit PD turrets to the top of your ship and park it as close to the ruins as possible like in the image below

I saw somewhere on reddit that synuefe NL-N C23-4 planet B 3 is good for module blueprints. Is this the best place to go to if I only want the fsd booster?

It is, that's where I was. :)

But, you need to be pretty good with your SRV, because the site has 'stairs'... Lol
And lots of guardian cheese wedges spawn too, compared to the weapon blueprint site.

Is there a guardian base I can go to that provides everything I need for an fsd booster or do I need to go to several systems?

You can get all you need by resetting your instance via reload several times. A few hints: don't take a big ship, parking is a big issue there. I managed to park a conda with 8 point defenses on it, but it took a while and I almost gave up. Also, take a point defense with you. The guides are on point with this.

My advice on the Sentinels: hide behind stuff.

They are incredibly bad at finding you once they lose sight of you. When more than one spawn, I just duck behind some stuff and then sneak around, keeping cover between me and them.

Then I pop out with 4 pips to weps and take one down quickly. They don't dodge well, at all, so I can usually kill one before the WEP capacitor goes dry. Then I hide again, and proceed to pick off another.

Just don't get caught out in the open. Those missiles toss you all over the place. Toggling the handbrake on helps a bit, but not entirely.

I haven't lost an SRV to Sentinels, just because I'm sneaky, lol.

I am fairly certain those shards they fire at you toss you around, missiles can be dealt with a point defense on your ship, parked nearby.

Here's a view of all the beacons lit up, to give you some idea of how they are arranged at SYNUEFE NL-N C23-4 B3, in a spoiler in case you don't wish to know ....

sorry, it's very dark there .... you find yourself blundering around in near darkness most of the time !

Then, when you have picked up the blueprint, and all the goodies at the site obtained by shooting stuff, you can go to COL 173 SECTOR QU-0 D6-25 to collect a lot more guardian stuff and scan more obelisks WITHOUT being harassed by sentinels, in case you need to top up with something.

I didn't see anyone mentioning this (probably it's considered obvious), but you need to drop a relic in the opening after you activate all beacons.

Additional tips:
* Once all the beacons are activated, the Data Point stays open until you leave the area.
* The message log you also tell you how many beacons are left
* The beacons will come up after you visit the main structure which raises the two beacons. So you can raise them all before starting to charge them.
* You can get all the Guardian materials for the FSD booster from any single site that provides Module Blue prints.
* You might have to relog once or twice for enough "Guardian Technology Component", but it's hardly a grind.
* 1 PD on the top of ship is generally enough. 2 if you have bad coverage.

On a positive note, why not visit a couple Guardian structure sites while you're in the area and enjoy the artwork while easily collecting all the materials you need.

I put 3 PDTs on my DBX and parked in the site.
Didn't have to deal with a single missile.

Unlocking just the booster is pretty easy.

Is the relic for getting the module blueprint? And where do I get that?

You shoot a blue glowing relic at the top of one of the (tall) towers at the site .. it falls and you scoop it up. Yes for the module blueprint.

To be honest, it's all easier to do than try to explain in words, though it will take you a while first time to find all the beacons to energize before planting the relic in the receptacle to get the blueprint.

Buy with cash?

Yep time to open your wallet. The FSD booster starts around 395,000 Credits for the lowest one, a 1H right up to 6,300,000 credits for the big daddy, the 5H. Be aware that each increase in module size gives you a longer jump range, so it is worth playing around with your optional internals to fit the 5H. And just to reiterate, the booster is an optional internal, it doesn't replay the standard FSD drive, so you have to fit it in a slot in the Optional Internals.

Thanks a lot, mate! :)

Thank you. :)

When you unlock the booster at the Tech Broker, if you have enough cash I recommend spending a few extra minutes at the broker purchasing additional boosters of every size class and putting them all in storage, so no-matter which ship you might be flying or where you might be, you'll always have a complete set of boosters available in any system outfitters should you want one :)

(Transporting modules might take time but you can do it from any outfitting location, whereas Guardian Tech-Brokers refuse to make house calls... :D )
