Helvete, no. It'z how lasy Shörmanns pronouns it.
Spiking som svedish där?
for free?....many of us have left money and time in this game so that they do not even listen to us ... the absurd number of hours that we have spent and that they think we continue spending is ridiculous, I do not think that free is the word, we have left our souls in the game and nails waiting for "this".(for free!!!).
Right on!Done:
A couple of suggestions from the Duck
* Allow the fence to clean goods for a fee. There are other games that do this (ESO perhaps?), and it would greatly improve piracy as valid gameplay and make fleet carriers worth something, be it to own or just visit. This could be done two ways (I recommend supporting both). One way is to offer...forums.frontier.co.uk
They're probably mature enough to understand that the silent majority are content with the updates and dont feel the need to mash their gums on forums all day.
Backer here, lots of years, hours and cash spent. I find your choice of words excessive. Fraud. Really? It’s a free update, period. We all got a lot for our money in total.for free?....many of us have left money and time in this game so that they do not even listen to us ... the absurd number of hours that we have spent and that they think we continue spending is ridiculous, I do not think that free is the word, we have left our souls in the game and nails waiting for "this".
It is a real fraud and a total lack of communication with the players, I hate being so negative, but it is what it is, it is the first time that I feel "cheated" by the frontier by promising "great things"
I don't think it was a fair exchange
for our fidelity to the game, and more and more they demonstrate a total lack of communication with the players, I hate being so negative, but it is what it is, it is the first time that I feel "cheated" by the frontier by promising "great things".
this is not great, there is nowhere to take it.
Edit: Any good thing we can say about the FC, will give them the false impression that they have done "well" ... OMG, they have only worked on a few screens, and place one more station with a horrible view and no options.
The laveradio thread.Recently? I'd love a link if so.
I'm just curious as to why they took 2 years to release this... Graphics and animations were mostly recycled and not much new stuff. Of course new UI elements, as well as changes to the current UI such as system map took some dev time. But I'm sure the most complex part was the networking part and making carriers persistent. But 2 years+ for that?
Yeah, I also feel bad for them :-/
fraud I mean exchange in the developer-player relationship .... I came in late, thinking that it would be a game with constant support from them ... and it no longer feels that way no matter how much they say, like having such a game great you incorporate content 1 or 2 times a year and poorly designed without paying attention to the players?Backer here, lots of years, hours and cash spent. Yeah... I feel the same.I'm sure that the management and developers at Frontier are enthusiastic about the new features they bring to their games (in this case, Elite Dangerous). And while they expect some negative feedback, I can't help but think that they have been caught totally off-guard with the level of disappointment, frustration, and disinterest in the latest Fleet Carrier beta. To put all that time, energy, and enthusiasm into a project to just watch it bomb - I know I would be disheartened if this were the response to a project I invested time in.
And yet, I can't fully bring myself to feel bad for Frontier. It seems they are just totally out-of-touch with their customers and player base. I'm not saying this based on what I want or do not want in the game, but rather the overwhelming negative feedback overflowing in the forums and livestreams, even from people who normally are much more generous with their praise of Frontier. I guess if I am going to feel bad for someone, it's the quiet developer working at Frontier who thinks, "This is not what the players want, but the boss tells me this is what I must do, so that's what I'll do." Having worked for such a boss in the past, I do feel bad for those employees at Frontier in this position. Something is obviously broken at Frontier, and I'm guessing it's management / leadership. And sadly, like the recent Charlie's Angels reboot and other terrible movies, they will probably just blame the fans and not own and learn from their mistakes. I hope I'm wrong (there's still time to fix these Fleet Carriers).
It’s not the first time FD adds features that don‘t appeal to everyone. I despise Powerplay, no way I try to earn merits. It’s not for me. according to their accounts, it is no longer a question of money, but a commitment to the game, and these months they have been selling us smoke only.
I have made enough positive reviews about Frontier many times, but with this I cannot, they have had the opportunity to see hundreds of threads about what the players asked for, this could not be imagined even in the worst nightmare

So maybe FC is just not for you. And not for me in the current state of development.
The design decision is up to FD and I for the good or bad I would never speak in a way that make the developers feel being treated disrespectful.
It’s okay to be disappointed, to criticize and so on, but it shouldn’t become personal like accusing FD for intentionally planning to give a crap for what the players want. That’s just not true, they are a business that needs us to stay, be happy and buy the next update.
My only call here is to try despite all personal disappointment to be careful with accusations - while harsh criticism on the features is absolutely okay and in order if you feel like it. I think some are missing the mark here.
I'll take mushrooms and extra sauce on my ...... nevermindNo pizzas.
I was looking forward to owning a Fleet Carrier (I can quite easily make 1 billion a week from mining) but having watched the live stream videos of the beta I think I've generally lost interest. Another big Fdev idea that has been spoiled by a lack of consideration of the requirements of Explorers in particular and combined with overpriced game mechanics. I can't see how I would use one now from a personal gameplay point of view. And the time requirement to maintain one as perhaps simply a status symbol would distract me from other parts of the game I do enjoy.
