Welcome to Sola!
~Land at the Top of World~
Sola is home to ~17,000 people. Its architecture blends East (in-game India) and West (Classic). Being in Nepal its history is (mostly) a mystery. It was officially founded in 1991 from a combination of the villages of Arctictis, Ioway, Leadville and Southside. Southside was so called for being on the Southern end of a 20 mile long valley. A glacier, known as Broad Glacier looms above it. This Glacier is one of two ways early explorers got into the once remote Valley. The other way is a few miles to the North and East, a cave in a peak known as Mt. Whichway. Arctictis "city" was began right outside of the resultant tunnel in the cave. Ioway is between Arctictis and Southside. Leadville is the furthest North community...
In order of population the largest to smallest the former villages are Arctictis (nearly half of the Sola population lives here), Southside, Ioway and Leadville. The mayor Anita Raja herself lives in Arctictis. The Downtown of Sola is mostly within Arctictis with only a bit of it in Ioway. HOWEVER, A bit further west Ioway has a nice park called Maple Park. It is here that Anita envisions, one day, a zoo...
...Fast forward a few years and many political battles and Anita's dream is about to become a reality. She just needs to get the population to vote on whether or not a zoo is a welcome addition to the great city of Sola...
Below pictured the Road to the Foothills leading eventually, to the mountains of Sola.

Another lady has dreams of zoo life! Further south, in India, Rachel G. was raised. An American citizen, she came to India with her parents who are missionaries. She read classic animal stories such as The Call of the Wild and dreamed for years of colder climates. Eventually she moved North to Sola, where she reads the daily paper.
One day in February (about a year after she moved) she saw an exciting story! The Mayor wants to build a zoo! She begins to tell anyone who will listen how great a zoo would be.
IRL Notes This was a long post and it is about the surroundings of the zoo. And a bit about how I imagine the Sola Zoo became to be known as Signature Wildlife rather than Sola Zoo. Its not necessary to read at all. What is necessary to read I'll post in a bit.
