Patch Notes January Update - Patch 2

Thanks for the logging change for the Thargoid Heart Bug in the January Update Patch 2, I am organizing to have some pilots come together and test this as much as possible to generate new log files.

Thargoid Hearts can still sometimes become immune to damage. Thanks to logs provided by commanders, we have been able to add some more focused telemetry to identify causes of the issue. Please continue to contribute your netlog files via Issue Tracker should you encounter this bug.

I have followed your link to submit more log files but currently the ticket is still marked as "FIXED" so it is not currently possible to contribute to the ticket.

I agree at 1000% with Renato, we need fix for de health of the game (this part is process actually) but we need content for the futur (and "soon" please) also for the health of the game.
Lets not make so only new players rule the game
Why? Because news players have not yet proven their loyalty on the game. maybe it possible your go somewhere else in the near future

i will aggree with youre statment , new players come and go they think its a shoot them up and are not prepared to work there way up as we have they will never rule the game 3 years in 3rd play through now i know the game,i retract the statement i made to renato just im to soft and said the first thing in my head 07 cmdr
 
Yeah for the patch ! I hope that april bug fixes will bring some fine tuning to the actual market tool in the galaxy map...I would love to use more tools inside the game instead of the ALT+TAB & INTERNET =/

I wish they would at least fix that damn chat box bug at least. You can temporary get rid of the issue by just opening and closing the chat box. If you don't you experience a heavy fps drop and a damn flickering, not working chat box sometimes.
 
-New mechanics for SRV ( engineering the SRV )....Doing skimmers and Data missions are a pain sometimes ( SRV are TOO weak for some attack planetary missions ).
Don't do ground missions in an SRV. If you need to destroy a generator or skimmers do it from your ship with dumbfire missiles. If you need to scan a data point... do it from your ship with its Data Scanner.

can we not fix the combat zones. when ships do show up after jumping from one to the other I can only kill 5-7 ships before "Victory" and everyone jumps out. Let the fighting continue
The CZs are not broken. That's what's supposed to happen.

It's a lot better than the old system where the best way to win a war was to shoot one ship in a CZ, cash in the bounty and then repeat and repeat and repeat.
 
So how is this new patch, everything working great?
I can‘t complain. Did some CZ and HiRes yesterday, no problems. Some cargo missions followed, ran perfectly smooth. Even the crashes I had when using fighters seem to have vanished which was a major pain for me. And it seems like the framerate is a little higher and more constant on the PS4 pro. But that might just be my imagination.

Visted HIP 36601 to stock up and I have encountered an issue where approximately 1/4 of the targets produce trilobal black crystals that can only be collected by catching them in flight before they hit the ground and disappear below the surface.

To my mind 2367 better describes my experience but FD hunh.

Yep, I know I can do from my ship but I want more immersion :p. I will be honest.....I want differents enemies during ground missions...Not just skimmers.....Can u imagine this ? Tanks and so on....Of course we will need other SRV to do this lol. ( a tank too, maybe ). So much ideas.........:unsure::cry:

Also recommend doing the ground missions in a DBX with dumbfires while playing Ride of the Valkyries

did you just have to remind me that i have to wait another 3 months, just to check if my reported bugs are fixed?
its not that things like the Flechette launcher turret are broken for more then a year now.
other game companies would have removed such an unlock-item from the game, refunded those who have unlocked it already, and put it back when they have found the bug.

I feel you man. FDev seriously dropped the ball and made a mess of a lot of features in the game in the past years...and on top of that they don't even comment and offer explanation on stuff they changed when a big part of the community (Ratkatcher not included) is asking for more explanations.

They seriously have the most awkward way to deal with their community. All their actions are like pouring oil on fire. No wonder why all the salt and negativity on all their post on youtube, facebook, etc.

The simple fact that they don't take time to aknowledge major balance & features problems in the game that are highlighted by the community for years only send a "We don't give a about it" to us...that's really sad to see and a poor way to keep the playerbase fidelity.
