It'll be ages till I can tell you how far from Sol though. Sorry!
No worries, I've added it to the incomplete list in the meantime. In a couple of weeks, I should make it back to the bubble myself, so I could fill it then if nobody else will tell us the distance. Thankfully, there are only a handful of systems right now where the distances are missing.
Also, welcome to the list, and good luck out there!

You can do as I did - since I was on my expedition when I was submitting my data here and could not see the distances to Sol, I simply calculated from the coordinates.
In his case, SIFI BV-T B18-0 is at -2001,269,620 which means the distance is sqrt(2001²+269²+620²)=2112.

Edit: also, ELW in a T Tauri system? Nice.

Here's an update from me, with 13 planets. Most of them are pretty standard fare, but there is one interesting find: in EIDAILLS UN-P B10-3, an Earth-like world is orbiting a lone M9 star. (No other stars in the system.) So it turns out that class M stars of all luminosities can host Earth-likes on their own.

In case anyone's curious: the star itself is M9 VI, with a solar mass of 0.1992, solar radius of 0.3777 and surface temperature of 2090 K. The planet orbits it at only 0.06 AU, and with an orbital period of 10.7 days, tidally locked.

That's a good method of giving an estimate, but it's not entirely accurate. I just flew to Sol to flesh the list out, and checked some of your estimated entries as well. The errors were +/- 1-5 ly. (For example, SLEGEAE BO-F D12-0 is 3658 ly away, you calculated 3663 ly.) That's plenty decent accuracy, mind you - but in the future, if I have to check distances myself, I'll do so by flying to Sol.

A couple of interesting ones there. One orbiting a neutron star, which seems pretty unlikely and another orbiting a red dwarf which is in turn orbiting a neutron star.

All are first discovered by me. :)

While i will get around to posting individual screenshot links for these,I'm not going to do it right now. I've not had to type so many random characters so many times since my days of training in Morse code.

So for now,a general link to my Elite screenshot folder will have to do.

All pics are here :

Ok, I'm back...
Welcome back, and thanks for all your submissions!

I've not had to type so many random characters so many times since my days of training in Morse code.
Lately, I've been using EDDiscovery and I just copy-paste from that. Much less chance of a typo getting through that way.

The problem is with reading the coordinates accurately. The method is 100% accurate if you can do that.
Well, yes, the simple geometric calculation would be 100% accurate if you knew all the coordinates with no error. However, there are two sources of error in our case:
- "human" error for reading the sector numbers (let's be a bit optimistic and say it's +/- 1 for every coordinate each)
- the systems are not at the grid points, true coordinates almost always have decimals (bit hard to estimate, but let's say it's +/- 0.25)
However, even with the error propagation, this still gives very good accuracy: the relative error is below 1%. So, I'm fine with people giving me distances that they calculated, but if they didn't, then I'll still use the more precise method of just flying to Sol and checking distances there.

Yes, unfortunately. It's a known bug that has been around for quite a while. The best you can do is enter the sector name and go there, and then try to search for the system with your Mk I Eyeballs. There is a method to the sector designations (the LI-J part in yours), so if you can find something with similar letters (like LH-J), then you should be able to find your system nearby. It's a pain to do, though.

Also, @ nicomak: thanks a bunch for submitting more info on your earlier finds as well! The new ones should be in the list shortly. For the two extra ones at the end of your posts, could you provide some screenshots as well please?

Update: thanks!

Done.

The "LH-J" part is somewhat in an alphabetical order(starting from the last letter).

For instance
HK-U ... IK-U ... JK-U ....

But it's not as helpful as one would like.

Around -650 -20 940 there is col 359 sector LI-J B38-6.

It would be better if it was "Col 359 sector LI-J D#-#" though
Since it's a 'b' it could be completely elsewhere in the sector.

Near -490 -22 900 there is Col 359 sector KI-J D### but then you meet the B133 and ic 1287 sectors and the series stops then starts somewhere else i suppose.
Though you find the col 359 sector back, and Col 359 sector NI-J D### near -270 27 880
...

A mess!

Great work @marx in continuing to maintain the list started by Glyn-ie. I'm always hoping the developers occasionally look through the list thinking 'This world would be a good place for event X' or 'This world is ideal for faction Y to colonise'.
Here are the 22 Earth-likes I discovered on my journey back from Sgr A* in my Federal Dropship, the 'Hippogriff'. Once the search in the galaxy map is working properly, I will also have another to add that I found shortly after making my previous submission to Glyn-ie's list whilst flying my Diamondback Scout, the 'Head in the Clouds'.
Where there are multiple stars in a system, I give all their spectral types and highlight the Earth-like's host like <this>. Where I remembered to take screenshots, I also provide the base value of the exploration data for each planet (this does not include the first discovery bonus). Given the number of screenshots that would otherwise be involved, I am only posting the system data screenshots (I did consider posting them all but it would have been about 16MB and I'm not sure what the limit is for a single post).

WOW. Nice thread. Rep +1.
Nice to see you took the idea of glynie one step further. I like the screenshots section for proof ;-)

I've added it to EDCodex. Also created a post in my third party tools thread- the info in EDCodex is more elaborate.
Before EDCodex will be released you (like all other authors) with tools/threads in EDCodex (approx 150 atm) will receive an invitation PM with a ready made account so you can edit/enhance your entry/entries - if you deem that useful. EDCodex is being coded by biobob.

Update: Edcodex has been publicly released on the 17th of August 2015.
Release thread: EDCodex. The complete list of third-party tools for Elite Dangerous - Community driven
Website: edcodex.info

As the update says: edcodex.info is live.
Entry: List of Earth-like planets, v2 -- with google spreadsheet
