List of Earth-like worlds, v3

I always take screens of any system I find while exploring that contains discovered and scanned ELW's and water worlds.

I have no intention of spending the time on these forums to spreadsheet the data but the screens are always posted as "Significant Finds" in my weekly Travelogue:

https://forums.frontier.co.uk/showthread.php/248418-Cmdr-Pingmonster-s-Interstellar-Travelogue

If anyone's interested feel free to trawl through all my discovered systems screens containing ELW's and water worlds.

@ Andargor: Heh, that illustrates nicely how explorers perceive distances different than most other players. For many, a distance of 300 ly is a long, treacherous journey. For you, it was a stone's throw. Or a boost and a boost perhaps?

@ Jimmy Firyh: Yeah, probably. Also, I've been flying around below and above the plane near the bubble, and this is just anecdotal "evidence", but I'd say it's likely that more people go above than go below.

I've discovered the same thing as my second trip was above the bubble, and i found maybe one crappy system, but that, that was amazing. Currently on leg 3 of my 5000ly circle trip that goes through California nebula, Deep space, Bernards loop, and the Pleiades. Currently (leg 3) i am in deep space travelling to Bernard's loop. I've found FIVE water worlds but not a single earth-like.

@marx, nah 300 LY is 1.5 neutron jumps :D But yeah, when people complain about crossing the bubble or going to Maia, I chuckle. But I've got nothing on the Beagle Point club, I haven't been there yet. Those guys are nuts.

Three more, and one around a neutron star no less! Good harvest tonight.

I have reached the destination of my next leg of my Grand Tour To The Core: it's one of the stars in the "Incomplete" list of the database. The ammonia world in CMDR Zachariah's screenshot is Planet 11 in this system; the ELW is Planet 9.

I'm not sure how you're planning on crediting these sorts of things, but it doesn't bother me personally if I don't get "credit" for completing this entry; the lack of first-discoverer tags in this system is more than made up for by the number of other Earth-likes I've found while getting here: four of them, all in the same sector. That's my record for number of untagged Earth-likes found in one 24-hour period.

@ Andargor: Hehe, do tell me how you can make half a neutron jump, I never managed to do that. Unless doing a boosted jump, being booted by the server and respawning back in the cone counts as such? Because I've done that twice - in a row.

@ Sapyx: Thanks! It's been a while since somebody submitted a screenie from the incomplete list. Which reminds me that I should move those over to the extended list too. Anyway, the established method for this is that I list the person who contributed the screenshot as the contributor, unless they'd rather their entry didn't count in their total, in which case I put in Anonymous. If you'd like that, let me know: otherwise, I've put it in with your name as the contributor. You did have to go all that way, after all, and it wasn't certain that there was an ELW in the system.
Also, good luck on your journey!

@marx I was browsing the list you made (which is so huge it made my beefy computer cry) and I noticed that my world wasnt on there. If you'd like me to put it in spreadsheet form, I'd gladly do that.

Oh, it's on the extended list, which you can find here. I'm no longer updating the original version of the list with new entries, so I guess I should make that clearer in the first post.

I'm happy to steal credit for it, then.

@ Poseidal: Thanks, and welcome back! While you're here, would you mind posting a screenshot for 2MASS J02341398+6148065 4? There are binary ELW-s in that system you've discovered, and there was a screenie for only one of them back then. We have separate entries for all planets now (not just one per system).

Same goes for Evoflash: one of your systems, HYPO AUF VX-L D7-959, has two Earth-likes but only one screenshot. Would you mind posting one of the other planet too?
Also, welcome back and thanks for using the spreadsheet format! Looks like you've been adding to it while you were exploring. In the future, you'll probably want to use the new format, but I'll look up the star types and add them of course - no need for you to edit this now.

Oh, and EOR AOC KX-U D2-4473's screenshot is actually a duplicate of NGC 6200 Sector TK-C B14-8. Could you fix this please?

One more to add as a result of doing passenger missions today for the first time. A visit to the tourist beacon at Veil West resulted in happening by this quiet gem on the way back. The system had been completely tagged already but I couldn't find it on the list and as it orbits a L star, it's fairly unusual.
(The passenger got back safely and I got over 6MCr, including a bonus for not being scanned - another reason to carry heat sinks!)
