I have readed it all. I introduced a collegue to Elite Dangerous. He's of the PvP ganky style kind. Always flies solo. I don't like his playing style, but watchagonnado,

And I know for a fact he has 2 people in his friends list. A mate of his and me. Since this guy exists, other such guys exists. Not every single pilot that ganks does so amongst the protection of a lot of peers in friend lists. Some have the balls to face opposition alone.

I hate to break it to you, but there are probably many ganking CMDRs who you never even heard of. Who aren't active in the forums, who aren't winging up. So that's where your 'calculations' also go wrong.

Nope they not. Because what i have on friendlist and social channels is pretty well expressed by empiric way.
However, to confirm that you need to fly around the bubble few evenings in Open mode. Evenings, beucase in other parts of the day a galaxy is gank-free.... ofc you my get a timezone gank if you have a bad luck, but probably you will fly through the buble safely and you will meet griefers on two hotspots.

What i am saying is not only an observation of friendslist/media. Its also what can i and my friends experience by playing in Open. In fact Elite is almost ganker free.

The most popular were maia/merope in few past days. Founders world was free, there was also some wing at engineers, i do not remember whitch one.

Do you have to be a GENIUS LEVEL Dev to figure this stuff out? I don't think so... Anybody who hands over control of any functions of their ship (especially modules like HS/SCBs etc) to someone who they have never even had a prior conversation with, let alone actually know are trustworthy, is inevitably going to get burned... Really? Is anyone actually surprised at this behaviour? It's tantamount to internet sex. Playing in Multicrew is the equivalent of a STD.

However, I personally don't feel that ruining other folks game experience is a good or valid way to prove a point. To me it's no different to trolling for fun. Of course, opinions will differ, but I can't help feeling that it's ultimately not a great way to support the game.

Join a miner, call out his location to your friend. Your friend arrives and invites you to MC. You join and pirate/kill the miner. Lol!

I am really very tolerant person and in my opinion anyone may belive what he want.

I don't think it's FD's business to patrol what crewmembers do on the ship. If you open your door to strangers you might get unlucky, that's how it is. Online gaming trolls are to be expected, it's human nature, some people just enjoy ruining someone else's day.

That being said, I also don't think that it should be the gunner who is in charge of SCB's, Chaff or Heat Sinks. These are clearly pilot responsabilities, not gunner. Gunner's role is to shoot stuff, not monitor shields or heat.

Any Ammo based options should be within the remit of the Helm to either control themselves or hand over to another (trusted) crewmember. But it should be the Helm (ship owners) choice. Not a default position that FDev have handed up in the 2.3 patch. This is just sloppy programming that has not been thought through properly imo. As a Dev you need to think through the consequences of any new feature - this clearly DIDNT happen with Multicrew during development.

That`s what seems to be happening. Has been a problem with MP games over the past 10 years. Before that you could play most MP games with few problems. Sure there were your teamkillers and griefers, but they had to work hard and be real patient to successfully do it- And then they got banned forever.

Now it`s only got worst- But the Company makes more moneeeee!

Elite still is a 'dad' game so to speak, that hasn't really changed that much, the general issue is......its gotten steadily more popular with main stream and yeah....that brings many issues.
